Revelation Week 8: Chalices of God's Wrath and Victory of the Lamb (Chapters 16-18)

Beginning in Chapter 16, we witness the effects of God’s judgment as it is poured out on the world. Described as His wrath, it is not so much a divine anger and destruction as we may at first imagine, but what is perceived as wrath, is the effects of holiness on those who oppose God. The unfolding of the events of the end of time continues as the firmament that separates heaven from earth is removed and we witness, through the woman of Babylon, the true, undeniable and everlasting effects of God’ holiness coming into contact with those who refuse to repent and follow Him.
