There is a skip at 1:22 which I used at my childhood time - you can press jump on that ladder, you fall of of it and becaue of your momentum you'll smash into the wall and go through it (so you don't need go around from above) - sounds cool but actually very easy to perform - even manually by hands, on tas it's a guarantee skip
I would like to configure my Joystik to do this fast sliding effect because this is the best feeling this game has if anyone knows how to use the mesen emulator

I rented this game often as a kid. I was so excited to relive all the memories. Then I realize I never even got to the water world.
I rented the hell out of this one too!
