That is slick! Nice build Dan 👍 bonus feature is its mobile. Thanks!
Thank you, yes I love making as many tools mobile as possible! I’ll be working on upgrades for any drill press next. 👍
Gonna build a drill press table…please. 😊 Love your content. Thank you.
Thank you Polly, and great idea! I will be working on a dress press table for this drill press that will fit almost any drill press next. Make sure the bell notification is turned on so you don’t miss it! 👍
Try wrist band on the hand that is holding the driver. With it on the left hand, you have to put down the drill to place the screws. On the right wrist, you keep the drill in hand and select the screws with the left hand...at least that's what works for me. Cheers
Good tip, thanks for watching!
Those drawers look fantastic inside the stand! I agree that having more tools on wheels is a positive for small shops. All of my benchtop tools are on wheels except for my jointer, but I’m working on that. I’ll have to give the sports drink a try
Thank you brother! I removed the legs and switched the hardware to black and it was much easier than building drawers. The drink is not only good for working out, but staying hydrated and healthy with no sugar. 👍
@@inspiringbuilds my wife is a type one diabetic. So we love to get stuff like that
@@FixItFrench Sorry to hear that and fully understand. I put the link in my description. I haven’t tried all the flavors yet, but they have a variety pack. What’s next on deck for you?
@@inspiringbuilds not sure what video I’m going to post, but I have six of them recorded. I just need to edit them. we are currently remodeling our basement, so that’s where all my time is going right now. lol
Love this drill press stand. Very strong and sturdy
Thank you! I’ll be adding a table to it in my next video. Having it mobile is probably my favorite feature. 👍
I didn't need a mobile one, so I built a wooden stand attached to the wall, with diagonal lower support, meeting the wall above the floor, to keep the floor clear.
That’s a great idea as I’m a big fan of keeping the clear floor when possible and room allows. Thanks for watching! I will be working on other drill press related videos for improvement such as a drill press table for any drill press along with other upgrades. Stay tuned if that interests you. 👍
Another great tutorial Dan, drill press stand turned out awesome!
Thank you sir! I picked up a drill press table for it so now on to the upgrades. 👍 What do you have on deck next?
@@inspiringbuilds just finishing off a tool cubby build, my idea of storing tools in totes was terrible so I’m re-organizing the shop again, lol. 3rd and final hopefully. Should have a video out either today or tomorrow.
@@DIYBuilt Looking forward to it. I always say we can’t be afraid of failure in order for something to succeed. Sometimes it just takes multiple tries and that’s ok! I personally try to learn something new everyday. 👍
@@inspiringbuilds I agree, failure only leads to success, learn something everyday

Thanks for the links and the nice build! Great idea!
Thanks for the links, helpful!
Looks similar to one I built for my son's mini fridge and microwave in college. Now, it holds the beer fridge in the shop. Lol. Love simple and effective designs like these. Thanks for sharing.
Great minds think alike, thanks watching and Happy Easter to your family!
🤩 SWEET! Love the concept! Great job! Thanks for the well explained DIY!
Thank you, I appreciate it! I’ll be working on upgrades for any drill press next. 👍
Way more convenient than having a different unit for tools that go with the drill press. This is a great idea and convenient!
Thank you, I appreciate it! I’ll be working on upgrades for any drill press next. 👍
I am always fascinated to see what new tool you will use next. Never even knew a Kreg Jig existed until now. Dan, thanks for always introducing us to these helpful tools and showing us how to use them. Awesome!!👍🏼
You bet! A kreg jig is super handy, this one has been my favorite model. 👍
