Peaceful Mid Fall Hike with an Unfortunate Mac and Cheese Recipe | Camping Food

Join us on a peaceful hike in mid-fall where we attempt to create a homemade mac and cheese in the woods. We experiment with using dirt in an aluminum pan as a substitute for a heavy cast iron pan, which we hope will prevent burning. The meal didn't work out exactly as planned but it was a great day anyway and a beautiful hike.
