Thank you very much Jason for your Chanel it help us much, am a small local contractor and am supposed to be a project manager Thank you for your advice, From here in Solomon Islands
I like the way you told about the PM challenges in the construction PM. I am trying to break into the market of PM constructions companies on undeveloped market, like Balkan region. It would help me if you could share at least briefly your experience in using software solutions and the construction industry - do you use any PM tools?
I literally liked and subscribed when you did that thing at 09:45, death by a meeting hahaha I'm a new site agent, my first day is tomorrow. Thank you for this video. I will be checking out more too
I’m currently an electrician I’m looking into go back to school as a Construction project manager I want to know if it’s the right fit for myself I’ve been researching the field any tips
Im 20 years old going to community college that offers a very good construction management program, any tips Mr. Schroeder? Been watching all your videos and you have great advice keep it up!
@@jasonwilliamschroeder thank you for the reply sir! Would a community college program degree be enough for a field engineer? Or would you recommend trying to find a job straight after school and then after i gain experience implement that towards becoming a field engineer? Im sure i got some terminology wrong but im happy to learn
Hey Jason, first video of yours I’ve seen. Just subscribed btw. I have a bachelors in mechanical engineering and a masters in civil engineering. I have experience in engineering design, water/sewer, land development, transportation, architecture PM, logistics and procurement (supply chain management), infrastructure planning and execution, permitting. Live in Miami, FL. I left my corporate design job to get back into construction with the goal of being a PM or superintendent and climbing the ladder in the company. I have an interview next week btw and I’m very optimistic about it. I believe I would be a valuable asset to any company. With that said… what, if any, advice or guidance do you have for me??? THANKS!
I’m a huge fan of your content and I really appreciate you for putting all of this together, thank you so much!

12:12 “what do you need?” Getting them something they need to do something specific, is that the rallying cry of a PM?

I would suggest reading the book The Motive. If you align with the book you would be a perfect fit
@@jasonwilliamschroederThe Motive by Patrick Lencioni?

I would intern as a field engineer as much as possible and as soon as you can with a company that knows how to do it!
