I am planning to go for a long stroke engine bike. Interceptor 650's weight, heating issue is the only concern.

Bro i test rode classic 350 and while inspecting the test ride vehicle i found surface rust on some parts of exhaust and on tank, the vehicle has driven total of 312km and the manufacturing of the vehicle is 1.5months old, is that normal in enfiled bikes ?

How do people manage to get 35km/l mileage on the classic? Mine gives just 32 km/l and not a km more inside the city... I have tried changing my riding style to an even more laid back form of riding as well. I don't ride rashly, but I agree that the route I take to work is very slow and involves quite a lot of gearing changes...
Suggestions to improve mileage are welcome!
Oh, and Int 650 love is super strong in my books...
City conditions require frequent use of clutch.
i try to minimise it and ride on mid gears and mid rpms.

Yes you can, you can also check out Triumph Scrambler 400x, Himalayan, and honda 350s
But gear shifting is not smooth in interceptor I think because of liquid gun engine oil re use

its a matter of time you will get used to the power (of whichever you choose)
classic will give you better mileage
classic does good and comfortable speeds at highway- 85-90kmph
interceptor will do 100-110 comfortably
maintenance will be slightly expensive for 650
you should take multiple test rides (with one or more topic in mind every-time you go ride one)
Classic 350 would definitely give 35-42 if maintained well and driven under 90
Are you planning to change exhaust and going for aftermarket? If yes please suggest some good exhaust.

Interceptor in not a successor of classic 350, earlier in 70s in 80s royal enfield used to produce constellation 700 and interceptor with much bigger engine with European standards, the new interceptor came with the new standards it has nothing to do with 350s,

it is the most similar bike to classic

Definitely Interceptor or Continental is a beast of machine and it's power will give you thrill. But my advice to all would be if you are planning to upgrade or buy then please ride in limit. Speed thrills but sadly it kills.

Halcyon colours are the different and new paint schemes of classic 350 ,its differentiate the classic 350 and its very classic. Halycon green os all time elegant and royal colour.
Why this classic Reborn looks bulkier?
In general a classic with alloys look bulkier than a classic with spoke rims, in my opinion.

I don't like the switches in new j series classic 350
I have heard this a lot!
Many people don’t like the rotatory switches that RE chose for all motorcycles.

In my view, they've done an excellent job seamlessly integrating the bike into the contemporary era with those new switches. I mean, those switches had never been altered before, and in my opinion, these new switches truly revolutionize the bike
