In this video, I discuss why Musou games, (such as Warriors Orochi Z) are the ultimate comfort games. From the satisfying hack-n-slash combat to the nostalgic memories of Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors, these games offer the perfect escape when life gets overwhelming. I dive into my personal experiences with Warriors Orochi, reflecting on what makes it so special and why it’s my go-to comfort game. Whether it’s the simplicity of the gameplay or the excitement of unlocking new characters, there's a Musou game for everyone. Let me know which Musou game is your Comfort Game in the comments below!

I used to play Warriors Orochi 2 with my mom all the times when I was a kid. we still play it from time to time. And the final stage music is just great.
Thanks for sharing your story, WOZ is also my favorite musou game.
For me, after finishing WO1&2 and coming back to WOZ was a great experience because even though I don't speak Japanese, I can still hear those warriors' English lines in my head!
It’s also nice to see DW6 character models with their DW5 weapons too, some even look better. I should pay it a visit soon haha.
Wow, thanks for the super thanks mountainbro270! That’s actually the first one on this channel😁🎉 I really appreciate it.
That’s pretty much the exact same experience I’ve been having with WOZ atm, I can’t understand a lick of Japanese but I can just picture what everyone’s saying from spending waaaaay too much time in WO1&2
WO1 made me get into musou, DW and SW.
Masterpiece.
same!!! still playing the game on my pc
@juancruz258 I just need to max all of the characters and get their treasures! Still, going to finish WO2 story first...
I'm just absolutely praying for a remaster of DW 3-5 on the modern generation
Fucking hell, you can't start the video with Yuan saying that! 😂
Hahaha mans is missing his Cow Cow
the story you told is very relatable and touching for me. i also grew up not having much but i got DW4 as a 5 year old and i fell in love so hard that from then on, if a dynasty warriors game came out that year, i got it for my birthday. these games were an absolute escape for so long and 20 years later it continues to serve the same purpose for me. love your channel dude, thank you for making such high quality content about our favorite games 🔥
Currently Playing WO2. i have finished all the story on WO1 but haven't maxed out all the characters and their respective treasures. I also have a psp version of WO2 and WO3. I can play these games because of emulation. Thank God!
Dynasty Warriors 2 will always have a special place in my heart, was my first warriors game and was a gift from a friend. He could never beat the first battle but I beat it on my first try so he just gave me the game. Its not the most polished of the dynasty games but experiencing those stories for the first time at like 8 years old was so special.
For me, my personal Musou Comfort Game is Dynasty Warriors 8 Complete Edition as not only do I consider it to be peak Dynasty Warriors gameplay, it also has the cool Lu Bu Story Mode and the only things that are missing are the following:
1: A Yuan Shao Story Mode.
2: A Playable Sima Yan.
3: Later Wu & Shu Generals.
4: Diaochan & Lu Lingqi interactions.
5: A good English voice actor for Zhang Liao.
I thought it was so weird that for the Hypothetical route in Lu Bu's story, you see Lu Lingqi nowhere.
I agree my friend, DW8 XL is my GOAT, along WO3 and Gundam Reborn
For me it's DW5 and DW8 Empires. The latter one is too much comfortable 😅
For me it's currently Fist of the North Star Ken's Rage 2. I think that's the peak of the licensed Musou games and the amount of fun I have while alleviating stress is unreal.
The koei games has been my childhood as well man. I remember my 14 year old self so excited and happy that warriors orochi was coming into play by combining dynasty and samurai. It was so exhilarating to play that and i would never forget that.
Dynasty warriors 5 empires is my favourite game of all time, it's just perfect
WO1 and DW6 Empires are my comfort games,i like how OP my character can get on those games.
And the music in 6 Empires just so relaxing, especially the Visual Database and Encyclopedia.
6 empires is so under rated
Dw6 Empires is so damn good
if we only could get it rereleased...
I've always liked Dynasty Warriors, but after playing the Origins demo, I returned to 8. But this time, it finally clicked! I fell in love with the Shu story line, and now I am also getting into Samurai Warriors. The games are perfect for relaxing after a hard work day.
I was just in Japan for a vacation and I bought a copy of orochi Z myself. Excited to play it before origins
Really great vid!! This vid really made me wanna play more WOZ! Had a lot of fun with it on the first try I played! I've been noticing that my personal comfort games are DW3 and DW4! Just love their vibes all around! Really love seeing your vids! Tbh you've given me a lot of inspiration to keep doing more Warriors content lately, your content has just been so awesome to watch and appreciate the love in this vid as well! Keep up your great content friend!!
Thanks for the kind words Lighty! Right back at ya, love seeing your vids as soon as you upload em😎 you’ll hit 10k subs in no time🔥
I also play wo1-2, sw1-2 with my dad, so we'll be playing SW1Xl for the first time soon! I like these nostalgic games, I'm glad that many people are outplaying moZ and the like. The video is cool as always, bro!
This is a very heartfelt video
It shows that Musou games mean a lot to so many people, and why Origins being so well received is important
I always come back to either DW8XLCE or DW8E. The feeling of those games are so nice.
I also come back to WO3U, so yeah
it is very hard to narrow down which is my ultimate comfort game in the series, but I think my top 3 would be Samuri warriors 2 empires,
dynasty warriors 5 empires and warriors orochi 3.
DW5, I currently play on my phone using a simulator and phone controller. I just play it without thinking about anything it's like switching off the thinking part of my brain,it's always been like this to me. Thank you for this video
I am more of Samurai warrior person and back in the day my comfort is samurai warrior extreme legend and empire. Right now my comfort is sw 4-II. Mainly because I am playing on PC and got it for 50% discount a few years ago. Just pick Hanzo Hattori, double jump and spinning his scythe all day long.
Literally playing SW4ii as we speak, I just unlocked Matsukaze yesterday and I’m just enjoying playing through the rest of the story mode flying through every stage haha
Glad that this series made you happy.
I guess we come from the same gen huh. I actually started with DW5 (base, XL, and Empires), then SW2(base and Empires). These two are forever my favorite number 1 in the respective series. I played both Japanese versions of Musou Orochi first. Musou Orochi 1 I got it from my bro, and we played Samurai story first. I was wowed immediately by the fact we can use 3 characters for a single stage and change it anytime during the battle. I loved the starter trio of Samurai story were Nobunaga, Mitsuhide (my fav), and Hideyoshi (my first maxed out chara from SW2). Of course because of the original Japanese, I didn't know why we were helping Huang Zhong and Guan Ping, why the yellow army as the third force was not an enemy, why did we fight Cao Ren and Mitsunari. Such a good time, but I never finishes the JP version. I finished the EN version later on, but for WO2, I finished both and loved the Japanese voice acting.
I'm in Japan at the moment and picked up a cheap copy of Orochi Z, so it's great to hear you talk about it. I also lucked out and found a copy of the samurai warriors 2 HD collection on ps3. Loving the videos dude!
Warriors Orochi 2, Dynasty Warriors Gundam 2, and ANY Empires title are my comfort games.
DW 3 was the first game my friends and I played circa 2003. We were completely enthralled by the everything the game offered. But for me personally I became a life long fan when I played Samurai Warriors 1. The Survival mode became an obsession. The hunger to grind for those higher stat weapons. Roughly a decade later Hyrule Warriors gave me the ultimate comfort obsession with Adventure mode.
Honestly nothing beats listening to a podcast and playing that special secondary musou mode where you don't have to pay attention to dialogue and just let the grind take you. :)
Absolutely agree with you my friend! Used to love sitting around just to watch DW6 cs haha awesome vid 😎😎
Thanks Nightowl! Always a treat to see you pop up here😎💪🏼 I remember bulk watching all of the DW6 cutscenes on TinyCaterpillar’s channel when I was younger
I've put so many hours into these games starting back with DW3 when one of my friends was the lucky one who was able to get his parents to buy him a PS2 and DW3. I really haven't played them much in recent years, but man would I LOVE to finally get another DW Gundam game.
you know what's funny? the only warriors game we got in my country was warriors orochi 1 back then
I love orochi games so much, each one was a major part of my life
Just the genre as a whole I call my comfort games. Farming sims cozy? Hell nah, it's musou games! The one I have the most nostalgia for though is DW4.
Farming sims got nothing on the DW games😤😤😤
I remember finding WO1 in my local game store having zero knowledge that it existed and my mind was blown wide open by the experience. I played Wu hoping to find the Two Qiaos who were my favorite characters and found myself falling in love with Ina.
My current comfort Warriors game is Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate. It's easily my favorite modern Musou experience and the easy of accessibility to it means I get to play it on just about any platform I own.
Musou Warriors games, soul games, and Assassin's Creed.
Those 3 game series are my personal comfort game.
I have a saying that stick with me: "When in doubt, boot up [insert game name here]"
what got me into musou games was actually the pirate warriors series. i played a few games when i was younger but they never stuck with me til the first pirate warrirors. since then ive gone back to play through some of the series and sengoku Basara. My comfort games are definitely sengoku basara 4 and pirate warriors 3. Even though basara 4 isnt translated the gameplay is so good it doesnt matter.
I love it when you make these types of videos! Any kinda discussion/opinion piece really. As a newer fan who discovered the games through spin offs, I'd really enjoy some videos covering the history of the series, and how it got to where it is today.
As for my comfort Musou game, It would probably be Dynasty Warriors Gundam 3. I was in the middle of losing a very close friend of mine as I discovered this game, and it helped me clear all the bad thoughts in my head, even if it was just for a moment.
My comfort games when i had a ps2 was Warriors Orochi 2, GTA SA and Tekken Tag 1 for the Bowling minigame haha.
Maan the title of this video is perfect bro
Thanks friend!
I remember when i started playing musou games back in the ps2 days , one of my first were wo2 and funnily enough it was in Japanese and i had a blast playing it even though i didn't understand what they said ( I didn't know English too at the time ) but after playing for a while i started getting the jest of it and what's what , like abilities on weapons or names like I'd memorize the writing to know who joined the battle off text without opening the menu , it's truly my favorite game of all time
Always nice to see some love for Warriors Orochi. It's fun playing a team of three using
any character from both DW and SW, along with the characters exclusive to this series.
I also like the dialogue and humor between the characters lol.
My comfort game is kind of a toss-up between WO1 and WO3U. I'd pick WO1 because of the classic DW5/SW2 feel, and WO3U for all the new content and improved stuff: characters/movesets, extended Story Mode, Gauntlet Mode, etc.
Ah boy that opening from Yuan perfectly set the tone of the video.
Yeah discussions and all aside I really gotta say the main reason is also to have fun with the game. It really has to do that and I think these titles do that most of the time.
For me Comfort really gotta be 3 or 5. Games i played/started when i was a kid and just picking either free mode or if i wanted to have multiple stages dedicated to a character I enjoy the musou mode. It helps winding down. Hell in some free modes you get to pick the music which helps a ton (think its 5 onwards unsure or only empires)
It is a series I hold dear and I think people forget that us being critical isnt us hating it due to the time we spend with it being for "nothing" which is a wrong position to have. What people have to realize with all this discussions our talk, hot topics etc is that it comes from a place of love. We all love these series and want it to be better because "obligatory" Musou games where there for me when uhh the goverment wasnt! (I jest)
But thats what I love just picking a character and having fun with it.
Great picks my friend! 3 and 5 are absolute classics, and feel like they've made with some sorta special sauce or something, they're just an absolute vibe to pick up and replay at any point. And 100% agree with that sentiment, no matter how it's worded, I think a lot of the discussion/criticism for these games mainly come from a place of love or wanting the best from these games. Definitely hoping to have more of a positive impact on the overall Musou community's discussions.
Honestly, I feel ya on the, "Just take a break from all the noise and turn on your favorite of the Musou games", I've seen quite a few things about Origins and while yes, I can understand some people not liking some of the decisions made, (Seriously this is the third time Zhang He's been without his Claws, ffs) at the same time I'm also super excited with how it's looking, and the gameplay looks so fun. (I don't have anything to play it on currently lol)
As for what I'd consider a comfort game from this series; Well for right now, (Since I'm a newer fan and haven't gotten to playing a decent amount of these games) I'd probably say DW8, both XLCE and Empires, there's just something about the gameplay that feels so fun to me, and I love so much else about the game, that it's just easy for me to just play a couple stages or a bit of ambition mode to kill some time. And since I've gotten 8 Empires from the November sale, (And DW9 lol. I'm actually not having the worst time with it surprisingly) I've been having a great time with it too, since it has all the pros of DW8, and more, it's so easy for me to say, "Holy cow I just spent three hours just doing stuff in this game" it's so addictive, and I 100% want to play more Empires games. (Xun Yu's moveset in 8:E is honestly one of my new favorites from the series as well, super glad I can play as him in WO4 too)
I'd also like to mention Orochi 4 as well, since personally I actually find it very fun, even if I can understand some of the criticisms people have said; There's just something about it that feels fun yet different from the DW games, plus since I still don't have any SW game besides 3, it's nice to be able to play as the SW characters. (And man do I need to play the other Orochi games)
It's the end of 2024 and Xbox decided to remind me that this year, once again, my most played videogame has been Warriors Orochi 3
My comfort warriors game is Warriors orochi 2, it doesn't matter how much musou games i play, that will be my favorite until the day i die. I really want to play it again, but i'm waiting for a localization of Musou Orochi Z or just a port of WO 2 to arrive steam because next time i play it i want to unlock orochi X
Dynasty Warriors 5 and Dynasty Warriors Gundam 3 for me, although recently I've begun playing Dynasty Warriors 3 again. I actually unlocked Lu bu for the first time in 3 a few nights ago after a long night of work. it felt awesome man. I used Dian Wei's axe throw move on the gate before Dong Zhuo and just kept spamming it. It was super fun.
DW5 was my first one and has always been my favorite but I emulated a bunch of the DW games on OPL. I got Samurai Warriors 2, Dynasty 3, Dynasty Warriors 4, and Warriors orochi. I played a lot of Samurai Warriors 2 on it, and i need to finish it sometime but it's been tough.
I love the world of musou, the characters (Ling Tong is my favorite one), the gameplay, running around, getting whooped by Lu Bu, and especially the music. I will miss MASA's music for the newer games for sure. I'd check out origin but I don't have good enough hardware for it. I also love your channel, and I'm happy you keep it going, it's helped a lot during my runs of all the various warriors games. Keep going Koei Kollection! You rock!
Dw 5 extreme legend's and dw 8 complete edition are my favs. Can kill thousands of enemies, and i miss the weapon upgrade system. Lubu and guan yus final weapons were so cool looking
to this day i still play a musou game once a day whenever i have free time, xD
While I remember watching my eldest brother play DW4 and SW2, I really started getting into the Musou games (and honestly Hack & Slash games in general) via WO1 since he never finished all of the campaigns and I saw him play it enough on our PS2 to know how to play. So once I started, imagine my surprise to just never stop playing it. Musou games like WO1 was so addicting.
I like to call Musou games my "brain off games" because I can boot them up, and generally just turn my brain off as I have enough body memory to know what to do as I go through the battles. It's amazing honestly.
Currently, my personal favorite Musou games are DW8XL, WO2 and WO3 since they feel for me the most OP feeling with the characters.
Love this video
Thanks for sharing my friend, and thanks for the kind words!
I agree that Musou games can be a comfort game for many people. I play Musou games because mowing thousands of peons can feel therapeutic to me. I don't care if I set the difficulty to low, as long as I can farm those KOs, I'm having a blast and that is the important thing.
For my favorite Musou game, it has to be DW8CE because that is the peak DW game right before DW9. Lots of contents, characters, you won't be bored playing this game for long.
no matter what peoples opinion on DW Origins is , its awesome to see that this franchise is getting some attention and apreciation plus from what i have seen online the musou warriors fanbase is one of the best community ever: everybody has a favourite in the franchise and if another disagree, they still respect each opinions without talking crap about each other. Its such a breath of fresh air in this day and age
Not really, got into arguments with some cyber boomers who basically hated the DW Origin demo, probably they got their ass kicked by Lu Bu for one too many times. They said the combat in DW Origin is shit, and everything’s overly complicated. I was like did yall boomer just play DW on easy at all time?
Idk if you count sengoku basara as a musou game but if it has to be a koei title. It's WO3 , more specifically gauntlet mode. Running around the map collecting treasures triggering traps and the occasional otherworldly invasion makes it very relaxing until the maisma levels get too high.
It's basically a Mystery Dungeon game with a warriors flare to it and I go to it for the chaos of it all.
The Empires games are my go to comfort game, typically the most recent at the time. So right now its DW9 empires. It is a flawed game, no denying that, but throw it on easy difficulty make a self insert character or some goofy concept and just going ham is too much fun. One of my favorites was creating the Grand Army of the North Pole, led by Santa Claus, Mrs Claus, and Rudolph the mightiest reindeer at Christmas time. It is goofy, but it was fun as heck. That was in DW8 empires, I might have to do it again in 9.
All of them they are simple and cool character designs specially orochi and orochi x and the gameplay is fun but if I have to pick one it warriors Orochi 2
Oddly enough, I flopped back on Warriors Orochi 3 ultimate (also did back in October) during a rather stressful time for me
dw 5 empire , special (+400 hours of play) and sw 2 xtreme and empire. my list of comfort games
Sengoku Basara 2 Is My Comfort Game. I Love How Wacky and Over The top The Movesets Can be In That Game.
I haven’t been a musou fan for long (really only got into SW last year) but I feel like I’ll revisit SW5 and WO4 a lot. SW5 was what solidified my love for the genre. I’ve been meaning to revisit the first Hyrule Warriors bc I played it as a kid and didn’t know what I was doing
My first thought after playing the DWO demo was “this is not relaxing anymore “
I tend to default to racing games. Art of Rally was my favorite pick-up of 2024, and current leader in 2025 is Euro Truck Simulator 2.
It seems like origins has the difficulty from older games back. My comfort game was warriors all stars but after finishing the true ending i felt like completing every thing else would be tedious.
8 XL is my comfort food and i like doing challenge mode. Im on jin story of DW7 so im almost done that story mode
try Earth Defense Force games, its basically Musou with guns. After a long day, just turn off your brain and have fun. Its better with friends online 😂👍
Warriors Orochi 2 is my go to comfort game, having charcaters who's weapons have Almighty just trivalizes the game to where you can just steam roll everything.
Let’s go KK! Orochi Z is the perfect comfort game. You can calmly grind and make progress without feeling anxious or overwhelmed. Pick 3 characters, grind, attempt to understand Kanji, repeat😂
Hey Smiley! I’m glad we’re on the same page with WOZ😁 and exactly! While I have no clue what anyone is saying, I feel like this game bundled WO1&2 together perfectly while adding new content too haha
I dont know if you know but I bought Warriors Orochi 1-2 on the PSP first it was freakin awesome. Anyhow in WO2 on the PSP all DW characters have their DW6 outfit which is awesome. I bought the WO 1-2 for the PS2 a couple of years ago can say i was happy but was sad when i realized WO2 didnt have the DW6 outfits like the PSP did.
Yeah I was super bummed back in the day when I realised the PS2 version didn’t come with the 4th costumes
sw1 sw2 dw4 dw5 is the best comfort game for me, but if I have to choose 1 that would be sw1, everytime i play it, ahhh the nostalgia really sends me back to where everything was so carefree...and I had my brothers with me where we take turns on playing on every stage, collecting high grade items and 4th and 5th weapons ,surviving the brutal difficulties now that I think of it, it's not really the game that i miss, its the moments and happy atmosphere ;) im just happy that I had the best childhood memories with these games
I started with Dynasty Warriors 4 (such a masterpiece to me), but my comfort game is definitely Dynasty Warriors 8 XLCE. I'm still partly through Ambition Mode, but I think it's a pretty solid title.
I wish I could go back and play the earlier titles in the series so I can see how much it has progressed.
Lastly, I want to get into WO 3 and 4 since they're both on Steam. Have you played those by any chance?
I have to catch origin, and love Orochi musou ... but my best confort musou is Zelda Musou, fun as hell, is the only musou that all characters scale to ultimate slayers
@Koei Kollection at this moment, Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires, Warriors Orochi 4 Ultimate and Samurai Warriors 5
Gotta be DW4 for me, just wish the XBOX or Hyper versions had the Xtreme Legends add-on. Played through it more times than I can count. DW8 XL:CE would be #2 and probably DW6: Empires at #3.
My confort musou game is SW2. I always modified any textures through emulator
I do loved this game, and while its certainly not my ultimate comfort game/s (they are Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate DE, and in majority of points WO4 Ultimate, and other unrelated such as D2R and few of Cvania games in PS2 and DS), it is one of those escape tools. Now those quality of life features of WO2 (especially on weapon upgrades) can be brought to the original WO1 story, battlefield and its gameplay, with many more peons on screen than in PS2.
Initially my Warriors Orochi Z was patched to English text but my PC treated those patch files as unsafe. Yeah one my reason to revert it to original Japanese and as I already have romanized walkthrough of it (like that of Sengoku Basara's) and mostly memorized the game and the game's interface and settings. It is the most definitive edition of classic PS2 WO games as DW8XLCE and SW4DX to Dynasty and Samurai Warrriors respectively.
About Dynasty Warriors: Origins, Lu Bu has been pursued by me in less than a dozen attempts. Wildcat Weather is exactly right about being feel overwhelmed at first, but the demo is not that ridiculously hard or easy.
i also think same like your opinion, thats why i play warrior orochi 4 on my switch not my pc bcs like playing warrior orochi on night before sleep is good times. just clear 1 stage and sleep :)
At the Moment I'm grinding musou orochi z and dynasty warriors 3, in general my comfort games are the PS2 gen warriors games they are all great. For the newer ones personally I think dynasty warriors 8 XL and warriors orochi 3 are the best games
It really is. SW 4 has been my favorite since its initial release, but even the spin-offs are solid. I honestly find it perplexing why the Musou games are not appealing to Western audiences.
hyrule warriors is my goto, what a game
Based + Warriors Orochi Pilled
Thanks for sharing that story about you and your father. I found it very heartwarming as i have had a similar experience.
Thanks for the kind words my friend!
For me it's WO3 & 2, DW6, and strangely... DW9 (empires) 😆.
warriors orochi 2 is for me the ultimate warriors game
I be real besides like dynasty 4-5, samurai warriors 2 for main series games every other musou game feels like a comfort game for example age of calamity , warriors orochi 4 .. why you may ask cause of the total chaos that comes from non cannon what if scenario gaming I like change and unpredictable and maybe that’s why I think origins feels so much better that and having actual tactical bodyguards feels cool
I think the 1 thing is clear is that it's not a open world title ..thank god
I love that they are trying different things to keep it fresh and see what sticks
I know there's a good few misses and there not as frequently released anymore unfortunately
But I love they are genuinely trying to give us something different each time
Yes the formula for 4 n 5 worked and they could of just cept it the same
But they tried something different in 6 I never played 7 and only played 8 recently
But 8 feels like the older games
Lubu feels exactly how I remember him to be
And origins the formula has shifted again infact it it feels completely different
1 thing I will say about that demo is I don't think the level scale is accurate I think how it feels is like I'm playing something that's difficult because of my level and not the games actual difficulty
In other words I think when Ur maxed level U will probably defeat lubu by accident
Which is how I remember dynasty warriors in the first place
Out the gate it feels difficult then U progress and next thing U know Ur a 1 man army
Trying to get some of the ultimate weapons in dw 2 3 4 5 is the opposite of comforting.
Dw 8 & 9 empire, WO 1,2 ,3,4
dynasty warriors 5 empires
Back in my PS3 days I was bummed this game wasn't translated but I wasn't that interested just because of that.
Now, after so many more years of playing Musou games, I don't care about the japanese-only that much. Now I wanna grab me a copy too. Warriors Orochi 1 and Dynasty Warriors 5 would be my comfort Musou games for different reasons.
BTW, the fourth costumes are available in WO2 for the PSP which is the best version (of the translated ones) of WO2 in terms of content. Not sure if it's the same costumes but I remember the DW6 ones.
I love the alternative costumes for others characters! They are so unique
Yea it's like you kinda get used to it after a while hey haha tbh I've heard for a while that the PSP version of WO2 is best, and I can kinda see why it is. I'm really looking forward to unlocking the extra dramatic/dream mode stages in the game and playing through em' for the first time😁
@@KoeiKollection If you ever want to play those in English, the PSP version is the way to go. (Unless they added even more).
Warriors/Musou Orochi Z with English patch and Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate Definitive Edition on PC anyone?
After playing a lot of musou games for the past 20 years with my first game being Dynasty Warriors 3 on the PS2, I would have to say Warriors Orochi 4 Ultimate is my comfort musou game. You get the ultimate (no pun intended) combination of DW8 Empires, SW4-2, and previous Orochi games (minus some of the guest characters from 3 Ultimate) move sets along with some newcomers like the Greek and Norse gods. The story is a mess in comparison to 3 Ultimate, but I can overlook it in favor of the overall gameplay.
Can’t stand the folks who talk smack on DW Origin for it not being braindead enough
Sometimes you just want to blow off steam when you live in a Daily Grind where you have no real power.
Warriors Orochi tier list?
It’s the third video on my list atm, shouldn’t be too much longer now that I’ve got some extra help with the channel😊
I’ve always compared these games to something like a cheesy action movie. Are they the most deep compelling and thoughtful media ever? No absolutely not. Are they incredibly fun and satisfying though? Absolutely
I’d say warriors orochi 2, 3, and every version of dynasty warriors 7 are the titles most close to heart for me. Those were the games that I played when it really set in how much I love these games. Older games had been fun and turned me into the historic action and fantasy lover I am today but those games were the ones I played the most.
Funny enough one I am nostalgic for even though it’s terrible is that one weird DS game they made where you played as one of 3 oc characters. Just having something like dynasty warriors in my pocket to play was so great for stuff like long car rides even if wasn’t as good. Same with strike force on psp.
WO 2&3, and DW7 are all BANGERS
And I really loved playing strikeforce on the PSP, it’s level design was perfect for the PSP. I’m glad there’s someone else here who enjoyed it!
@ strike force being a weird more fantasy rpg version of dynasty warriors where every character got their own super sayian form hooked me immediately. It’s exactly the kind of goofy concept that works well for a spin off. It just suffered from being a dw6 spin off. I’d love for them to try a new strike force or something similar again at some point. I guess warriors orochi 4 kind of went that direction with the magic system and god forms for the few characters that got them but I’d like to see something that fully embraces it.
Suelo disfrutar mas de los musou que no son de koei (fate extella link/senran kagura estival/sengoku basara)
Last time I was this early my gf was really dissapointed.
😂😂
Which Orochi was is it that your father purchased for you?
they are
Se tenia que decir y se dijo
Aunque no puedo jugar tanto tiempo la mayoría de juegos de omega force sin quemarme, excepto aue sean warriors orochi o los juegos spin offs
