I have a fear...of butterflies.
No joke. Ever since I was a toddler I was just deathly afraid of them. I run away from them, fidget around when one is near and I can't even look at pictures of them. I've tried to get over it but every attempt has failed 🤷♀️

The fear of bathing can be justified if they are supposed to bathe in an ice bath or a pot of boiling oil.
And I have the phobia of zombies (I forgot what it was called) mostly because of the concept of a zombie is a mindless human that can spread the virus that makes you mindless to you, and that’s why it terrifies me. The very thought of having the ones that I trust and love become mindless and doing all they can to kill me or make me one of them just gives me an indescribable fear, I literally had to sleep with a knife in my hand for a few weeks when I discovered the concept of zombies.
I'm terrified of zombies.

I was afraid of dogs for years but this was after I was attacked by my cousin's dog when I was 3. I've mostly gotten over it but I'm still wary wits when I see a large dog not on a leash and not with it's owner.

Well most spiders don't really harm you, so people like myself will freak out over a spider that can't do anything. Yes, I know it's more than just spiders. However, after a Brown Recluse Spider bit me (look up brown recluse bite if you have the stomach for it), it nearly cost me my right leg because the venom kept eating the skin every day and I ended up operating on it daily. Nowadays, if I go near boxes or closets, I put rubber bands on my sleeves and around my pants ends, and tie a cloth around my waist so that there's no way under my clothes. You can have one on your hand and it will not hurt you, but if they get under your clothes, and the cloth just pushes on them, they go for it. I had a deep crater the size of a softball in my thigh, extending down through the fat layer (not much fat), then the muscle, and so on all the way to the bone. I got flat tired of cleaning out black dead tissue from that crater, and trying not to touch the live tissue accidentally, because BOY does that hurt like a stun gun, but worse.

I have bloodphobia (haemophobia) and pass out at the sight of blood, a good explanation for this is the gene explanation which basically means it is a trait passed down from human ancestors had something to do with the overeaction to blood that caused people to pass out ended up protecting them because they would look like another lifeless corpse on the ground. The pass out or fainting happens because the blood pressure drops so low it causes the haemophobic to faint due to a lack of oxegon to the brain from blood. It's quite logical to me I think

Well, I do have this thing about bathing, but it's not a fear, and I clean myself another way. I have to use Fentanyl patches on nmy skin, and bathing will take one right off! The withdrawal from Fentanyl is extremely painful and sickening.
Apparently, there is also a fear of paper airplanes, which I find super stupid and weird.
I don't know about bath fear but it's really not a good cleaning method. When you shower do you use your hand to collect water from your butt and then wash your face with it? Yet when you take a bath what is the one part of your body that never leaves the water?

A phobia is an "irrational fear" for a reason. As in- in it doesnt make sense. Its a mental disorder, so its possibile a phobia exists for many things.
