Hey Afrodisiacs! In today’s video I share with you guys My Extremely Minimalist Natural Hair Black Friday Haul (2020). This Black Friday I didn't want to go overboard on spending. I purchased from two brands, Soultanicals and Camille Rose Naturals. I also purchased a clay mask from Chocolate Kinks & Curls which I forgot to mention in the video because it hasn't arrived as of yet. Hey Afrodisiacs! I hope everyone is doing well. 😘 I apologize for being MIA, but I’m back now!
First, I’m still having issues with my audio. I did purchase a new microphone, but it picks up focusing noises from my camera lens. I’m more than likely going to have to re-purchase the same microphone that I have now. 🙉
Secondly, I forgot to mention that I also purchased from Chocolate Kinks & Curls. My IG sis, naturally_madisen, recommended that I try their clay wash. ❤️ They had 30% off on Black Friday. I’m still waiting for the product to arrive.

A lot of the brands and products you mentioned I had my eye on as well... being Canadian a lot of the brands and products you mentioned and showed you got, I passed on because of the shipping costs... it'd be more expensive to ship certain products than to purchase them. My local walmart is getting better, it now carries the mane choice and dippy do girls with curls and a few others. My local Sally's is getting a little better though it could do more with expanding the product lines. Thanks again for posting! ps I hope you and your family are doing well during these challenging times.

This is why I'm skeptical of purchasing from them because I've heard others say they're shipping is problematic. The few products I have tried from them was purchased at Sally's.
I’m not sure how much it does for growth but I love the Camille oil for my problematic scalp, it’s just so soothing
Oooo, thank you for letting me know that! 😌 I picked it up for both - growth & dry scalp. My scalp gets really dry/itchy in the winter time.
I passed on Miche too because of their dismal sale prices.
The Mane Choice was almost impossible to pass up so I purchased from the Cheers, Tropical Moringa, Do it fro the culture collections.
I was able to grab the 3 styling products from Pattern but from Ulta. It turned out to be cheaper for me.
Oyin got some of my coins. I picked up the 1 liter Honey hemp and an 8oz Boing. I was already stocked up on my other staples from the brand.
Honeys Handmade is sending me two containers of the coconut water leave in which hasn't arrived yet.
Curl Junkie was the biggest disappointment for me. They didnt participate with BF this year. I so wanted to re up on my staples. Curl Rehab, Argan Beauticurls, Repair Me, Beauticurls Strengthening Conditioner and Daily Fix. Im about to bite the bullet and get some of these in a few weeks.
I wanted to try Pattern's styling cream but the sale wasnt good enough for me to drop my coins. I was waiting for Ulta to stock on the Melanin twisting cream but no such luck. I am not about to spend $10 for shipping.
It looks like you really stuck to your budget. I was elated to order my favorite brand Soultanicals on Cyber Monday. It hasn’t arrived yet but I’ll be getting all 3 new products. I also regret my Honeys handmade order because it doesn’t seem to list all ingredients like fragrance and preservatives. I also ordered a Felicia Leatherwood brush. Great video. Thank you for sharing! 😊. It sounds like you got some great goodies! Have you reached out to Soultanicals about a replacement? First, they told me that the jar was filled according to weight rather than appearance. However, this jar that I have is less dense than the first jar that I received. I went back to last year's Black Friday haul video and took a screenshot of what the Master Cleanse looked like. (Dense & full to the top) I sent it to Soultanicals and they agreed to send me a replacement. I would reach out to them & tell them that the consistency is loose & its not filled to the top. If they give you a hard time, you could mention my video! ❤️

I ordered from Camille Rose, Ecoslay, mane Choice, Kinky Tresses & Soultanicals. Soultanicals just sent out the tracking code so I know im not seeing that until January. I wanted to hit up Miche but my budget said nope.

I had the same experience with SheScentIt as well! I’ve been wanting to try that Okra hair mask but didn’t think they were participating in the Black Friday sale because every time I checked the site, there was no discount/promotions being advertised. I was so sad lol!

Canvas Beauty had a Cyber sale the Monday after Black Friday. I got the Essentials Kit,that is normally $90 for $20 dollars 😊.

I love their Butta shampoos. The only one I've used was Sprout one.
Do their butta shampoos lather at all?! They seem really moisturizing from the ingredients.

I finally used my cocoa rhassoul shampoo butta. It's nothing special about it honestly...
My black Friday was minimal too and I got a 16oz. Bottle of Alikay Naturals Lemongrass Leave-in and 8or 12oz. Jar of Lemongrass Styling Gel, ORS Curl's Unleashed Color Blast temporary wax color yellow and for my high porosity fragile hair I also got the Alikay Naturals Avocado Hair Mask and their Essential Growth Oil and that about it for right now🙂

Idk how people are able to buy soultanicals during BF. I've tried to buy products from them the past couple years but the products I wanted were sold out within the first like 20 mins
Hey! It helps when you have all of the products that you want to purchase in your wishlist already. I usually go on their website 10 mins prior to the sale and stay on my wishlist page until the sale starts. Once it starts, you have to be very quick with adding the stuff from your wishlist into your cart. I missed their Black Friday sale because I was trying to decide whether I wanted something else on their site. 😭 You just have to be very quick. Also, try to have your payment method on file already to save time.
