I have to say tho. The russain p39 is actuality really good. The only downside is you dont get to change the ammo type for the 37mm but every 2 rounds is an ap round so its not all that bad
Why do his opponents nearly always fly in a straight line when he boom and zooms? Mine always turn and stuff so there impossible to hit without sacrificing all my energy
If you miss a pass while diving on an aircraft, just pull back up. Your opponent will have spent more energy than you in dodging, so they will have less energy to maneuver out of your next pass.
Personal preference :D I think stat card wise the N is technically the heavier, faster one? Could be the opposite, don't really know, only differences I can actually feel is the armament- which is why I prefer the Q!
Depending on your plane, once you're familiar with the guns (where they're mounted, if they're high/low velocity, your convergence range, etc) you'll know around how much lead you need. After that, it's just plenty of practice :) I've heard controller can be tricky to master. Goodluck man, o7!
I mean honestly man, this isn’t very nice news but I recommend getting a keyboard if you really want better aim. I did that at the start of 2023 and it was such an improvement from controller. Especially since you’re only rank 3 (I’m guessing that means you haven’t played the game for a long time yet) it will be much easier to swap to keyboard than if you were a rank 6.
Bro just don’t I am a console player I use a controller for tanks but for planes just don’t try go get a cheap mouse and keyboard like I did it makes a world of difference and you’ll save yourself a lot of frustration
I recommend mainly aiming to hit with the 50 cals and saving the 37mm for bombers or enemies going really slow. Hopefully that helps, best of luck brother!
@@nimbosoup thanks. Quick question though, would you mind giving me some tips and tricks on reversal. Because my current tactics is simply running, but sometimes it not possible
@@wongarnold2879 Sure! It's all about the setup. Your speed needs to be lower than the enemies for them to overshoot, but not so low that you can't effectively turn to dodge their bullets, or too low that you can't hit a shot on them as they do overshoot. Putting yourself into a dive (making them dive after you), throttle dropping, and small movements will help you with this. At the end of the day it's just gonna take a lot of practice- check out the video I uploaded yesterday for some examples. I also made a video like 10 months ago on defensive flying if you're interested in some more help!

i like the P-39N more, the Q felt heavier than the N

Good video but from the title I thought you were gonna be explaining how to boom and zoom effectively
I can see how the title might be interpreted that way, sorry it was unclear!
Weird question but why do you have km/h but Fahrenheit?
Could you do a video on the German mig-15bis
Yessir! Been on my mind for a bit :) Next video will be on either the A-36 or the German mig 15 :D

Hey nimbo I'm rank three in wt and I was wondering how to aim better I'm on controller
