- Since I installed a keyless ignition system on my scout (video coming soon), I opted to get rid of the stock gas cap that requires a key to open up.

Looks good! do you have link for the cap? You mentioned having to take out a screw to vent the tank, which one was it? Thanks!
You can see in the thumbnail it's the screw at the 3:00 position. I left that out and it seems to work well as a passive vent for any pressure buildup.

Looks very good. Are you still happy with this? Considering replacing on both my wife's and my Scout.
Yeah so far so good! No issues at all beyond the slight pressurization on hot days.
Thanks for the vid. I got a keyless fuel cap on my victory. Installed by previous owner. I have a small amount of fuel that seeps out of the cap. Any ideas why this is happening?
My guess would be over filling but I have no idea
By any chance do you know if this fits the 17 victory octane?
No idea. Check to see the screw locations and the size of the cap, and check to see if there are forums or contents on the Amazon page to see if it fits. Or just gamble and return it if it didn't fit 😁. Good luck!

Yep! Held up really well so far! No complaints beyond the pressurization.
Question would you be able to measure the diameter of the stock and this gas cap for me please ?
I dont have the stock cap anymore, but the base dimensions are the same as this at 4 in. The cap itself is 2 in. Hope that helps

@@TariqKhan-xt5qs Nothing beyond the little hiss from slight pressure being built up. No real issues so far.
Ok cool just didn’t want gas exploding out of my tank because of pressure while I’m riding
@@TariqKhan-xt5qs yeah for sure! The worst it has ever been for me was on a hot day out riding and I heard it hiss so I took off the gas cap and it sounded like opening a semi flat can of soda.
