- For years now, Star vs. the Forces of Evil has gradually developed a negative reputation that has consumed any and all discussion surrounding the show. As a former fan of the show, I thought it would be neat to go back and review every episode to prove if the show was once as good as people said it was.

Toffee's death was the moment I learned what true disappointment felt like
Agreed, Toffee was my favorite character.
in the game of life!!
I belive the reason was because the voice actor was diagnosed with cancer and his chances of survival were slim, so they killed him off prematuraly because they thought he would not survive. Thankfully he did, but the damage was already done

@@DelusionalDunmer I guess in my opinion
I legitimately cannot bring myself to start GOT for this exact reason…I can’t handle another Star vs…
@@D3viant517 This is exactly the tragedy of bad endings for long, story-oriented shows.
The first couple of seasons could be great, full of 8-10/10s. But then the latter seasons are full of stinkers, themes and characters get mishandled, show's not as enjoyable, etc. All culminating in an ending that makes the payoff of everything the show was building up feel like a waste of time.
And the worst part is that it's kinda hard to separate the good and the bad in shows like this because they're connected by the plot. In SVTFOE, you can't really enjoy episodes that involve Marco and Jackie or Star and Tom because you KNOW how terribly those relationships end up. In SU, the episodes where the Gems reminisce about how much Rose meant to them and how they miss her kinda get undercut by the reveal of her being Pink Diamond, and the resulting consequences of her disguise that affects the entire show.
Those shows are still decent, without a doubt. But knowing how they degrade over seasons makes it hard to come back to them.

According to supplementary materials, aka, books and such, Glossaryck *created* the Magic High Commission, meaning that not only he made them violently incompetent on purpose, he also created them fully knowing that he's arranging everything for them to be erased from existence one day.
Bit rude if you ask me.
Pretty sure that guy was the villain this whole time
@logannottheonefrommarvel9917 imagine if they actually pulled the trigger on that. Mina is the bait-and-switch and Glossaryk becomes the real villain of Season 4.
Imagine having your trusted mentor figure who's been in your family's bloodline for centuries secretly be committing a self-erasure long game to wipe out all magic.

I have said this to someone before: the fact that the owl house managed to create an overall satisfying conclusion when it got dealt a heavy hand with 3 episodes of a season 3 to wrap EVERYTHING UP while star vs had far more episodes in its final season yet managed to fumble the bag hard by the end is a testament. The writing truly went off the rails
The fact that The Owl House was able to go off with such a great ending, in spite of the handicap for season 3, is a complete and total miracle by the grace of God.
@@ajgameguy3674 it emphasizes how screwed up the writing was for star vs.
The fact that the Ghost and Molly McGee managed to pull off a pretty decent ending despite Disney’s sordid love affair with it is a testament too.
@@eatatjoes6751 Wholeheartedly agree as well given it had a whole other season planned and disney granted them one last episode to wrap the show up in the way they wanted it to. Which is super unlike disney btw
@@eatatjoes6751 I heard that the creators had an ending already planned out just in case they were cancelled, as it was up in the air at the time (during season two) if they’d get a third season. They were initially planning for a third season (as the original season two finale was open ended), but like Disney TV do, they announced the cancellation right when season two was wrapping up, forcing the creators to use their planned ending episode sooner than expected.

Reminds me of how autistic people watch video game essays/rants on the stories of various games like Kingdom Hearts 3 and Pokemon Scarlet & Violet.
Eclipsa being first introduced as a mysterious looming villain. Then being released. Then being showed to not actually be a villain but a rather morally gray and rather sympathetic character. Then for her daughter, to be revealed to be the next villain. Then for her to be the actual heir to the throne, saving the kingdom and thus establishing her role as ruler and a good person.
Then to being completely indifferent to being the harbinger of doom by committing magical genocide along with Star and Moon, a pure act of evilness. I hate it here.
Eclipsa deserved so much better!
one thing I disliked was when the show switched from kinetic and energetic flash animation, to stiff hand drawn animation, which lessens the impacts of battles and some general visual charms being gone.
@@goobusmcdoobus2 I don't think S2 and beyond had hand drawn animation, it just looks like stiffer puppet animation. If anything, I think S1 was the only season to use hand drawn (it looks like mostly puppet animation, with hand drawn scenes used here and there for the faster scenes)
S1 was animated by Rough Draft Korea, while everything else was done by Mercury Filmworks. I think that's the actual reason why the animation took such a hit
It was HAND DRAWN!?
Season 1-2 had good animation in my bad, but after that, downhill.
Hand drawn animation is generally considered to look better than flash animation. Flash animation tends to look more cheap and simplistic.
@@11bg00 in the general animation landscape, that is true, but the implementation of hand drawn on the show caused a lot of stiffer fight scenes, general visual degradation and a lack of expressive style.
What gets me about the finale was that Star literally deleted a fundamental force of the universe to save a group of people from being pushed off a cliff, killing a literally incalculable amount of people in the aftermath between her spells, the high commission, anyone in unfortunate spots when the dimensional merge happened, and literally anyone who relied on magic to live in one way or another.
It's like if someone decided to delete gravity from the universe to save a town of like, 1000 people tops.
Oh, you don't want to know what comes next😈😈😈.
@@maduemeziafrancisxavier6125 Zap to the extreme
Star already showed signs of actaully being bad when she tried to murder Gustav, and her "he's a c*nnibal" theory was a conspiracy she made up completely because she was jealous. And when she gets mewberty she literally KIDNAPS boys. Star was definitely real sus at times even before the finale

Star Vs. basically DID become the kid version of GOT! Both had great starts, was very popular, and went downhill FAST with their series finale! 💀
The fact that both finales aired on the same day is not a coincidence.
@@michaelstrong5383 and only big difference is that Star Vs. didn't become as meme worthy as GOT.
Only key difference is GoT downfall was caused by greed
Yet star vs. downfall was just disappointing (least to me)
@@kanati1133GoT's downfall was entirely because of incompetence, had DnD followed the books and introduced young griff + gives us the real Euron Greyjoy they would have made gold.
@@guerreiroazul3230 I say greed only cause iirc DnD was offered a star wars deal which they leaped immediately.
Which had them try to wrap up GoT as fast a possible to get said deal.
Only to not even get it after the poor reception of GoT, they saw dollar signs and ran for it only to have a lose-lose scenario on their hands
This show exemplifies how writers can undermine their own story by focusing excessively on pleasing fans. It seems that Star and Marco were not initially intended to be a couple, but due to strong fan demand, the writers felt compelled to pair them. This decision led to Star and Marco getting their own storyline, while other characters were relegated to the main plotline. Another instance of forced fanservice is evident with the character Hekapoo. Originally, Rhombulus was meant to be the standout good member of the MHC, but Hekapoo's popularity, driven by her design and her potential pairing with Marco, pushed her into that role. This shift resulted in inconsistent character roles for both Hekapoo and Rhombulus.
That also explains the stupid twist...
I don’t think you got it right. Blood moon ball was THE episode when it became clear that Star and Marco will be endgame. This is a point in the story, from which their relationship gained romantic context. Not because of fans, but because of writers. And it’s even more evident, considering that Daron Nefcy made Marco look like her husband
The creator stated that Star and Marco's relationship was based on her and her husband's so I think it was.
I remember Daron Nefcy saying that Marco was based on her husband, so it was always going to be endgame, and so when the plot started to give signs it could be better if they weren't, the writers had to find a way to make it back to the rails, at the cost of everything else
The problem was that they never gave any single plot point or character development the time and continuity it needed. I feel the entire reason for the relationships in this show was to portray how these things can be messy and confusing. Things and feelings can change and what was love could turn into nothing. The grand issue was that like basically every thing in the show (Monsters-Mewmans, magic, Metora, Eclipsa) it was essentially shoved into a closet until whatever episode was designated the "romance" episode.
Take the Marco Jackie breakup. If that was built up over the season as Marco gradually realises his feelings of Star and Mewni and we see how the relationship starts to degrade. Then it would've been fine, because we see how over time he starts to care more about Star and Jackie realizes that the relationship isn't working. However, all of this was essentially shoved into a 11 minute episode and never any more.
I love how cartoonshi puts in intermission breaks even though this is a youtube video and i can just pause anytime i want and come back to watching as if nothing ever happened
Yeah, and I love when he leaves kind messages in those intermissions too! Warms my heart~ ☺️

@@SecretMagician about 2 days
Fun Fact: The reason why the animation got changed after Season 1 is because they changed the animation studio.
That studio (Mercury Filmwoks ) also animated Hilda. ( I don't know if you have watched Hilda )
I still can’t believe the Star finale aired on the exact same date as the Game of Thrones finale
It's as if God himself simply declared "Yes. That one. This day in particular is the day of shitty TV show endings."
That should be in the history books
So much Promise, but there is an old saying: Keep your expectations low and You will never be disappointed.
Remindes me of hazbin hotel, so much promise and cool ideas for such little execution. Edit: this isn't me saying that the show is horrible, its just very lackluster.
Wasn't that phrase in no way home?
@@lylelylecrocodile2538 yeah
My expectations were low for the finale after the dumpster fire of season for, and I wasn't disappointed, I was mad.
Star vs. finale (and GOT finale) was the weirdest gift for my 17th birthday
I feel so sorry for you
Worst birthday present ever. You have my condolences.
Like the wise words of Blue Order "A show's finale is what leaves the lasting impact."
This makes me happy that Amphibia, The Owl House and The Ghost and Molly Mcgee had great endings in my opinion.
There’s something poetic about Star Vs. and Game of Thrones ending on the same day…
And both being amazingly shitty, but for entirely different reasons, it's amazing really
The High Magic Commission might have been hideously racist and extremely incompetent, but man, Hekapoo didn't deserve to get deleted from existence.
The Cartoonshi healing arc has reached its finale. Thanks for all the hard work you’ve been through for our entertainment man. So lucky and happy to be one of your subscribers.
This is IMO probably one of the best paced ranking videos of them all. Fantastic job.
Of all things, Ludo was definitely my favorite aspect of season 2. I'm a sucker for character arcs where a character develops from being a pathetic joke villain to being a competent threat through their own hard work. It's like an underdog story, something you more frequently see with heroes than villains. Seeing a once pathetic villain actually manage to find success and competence of course makes you worried for the hero, but it's also this weird sense of pride like "yeah, good job! You've earned this!" It makes me weirdly root for the villains in some cases. And Ludo is one of my favorite examples of this, at least in season 2.
Killer Moth needs this
Ludo was one of the very few characters to luckily survive the character assassination of season 4 and actually have a satisfying character arc.
Long Cartoonshi video? On my birthday as well!? Definitely a good birthday.
EDIT: I appreciate the birthday wishes all of you hope you have great weeks :D

“You can’t give the oppressors a legitimate reason to be afraid of who they are oppressing”
I think that was my problem with X men always being praised as such a good prejudice allegory, but at least they have some bigoted humans as villains, SVTFOE never properly did that
I don't agree at all with this opinion the monster racism thing. The thing that I feel needs to be understood is that not every plotpoint in fiction that has parallels to the real world, is also a direct allegory. What makes the monster/mewni situation interesting (at least when not done super bad) in my opinion IS the fact that unlike in the real world, monsters geniunenly have some issues inherent to their existence that can cause conflict and has. The fact that a lot of the people who have issues with the monsters do so for valid reasons makes it a much more interesting conflict to see. A strength of fiction is the posibility to explore stuff that could not happen or generally does not happen in the real world. The fact that in Star VS Monsters can geniunenly be problematic for a number of reasons but many of them still aren't or try not to be helps to create an interesting conflict because it means that the way the "non problematic" characters interact also has some tension.
If you want to make interesting stories abiding by weird utopian rules such as "opressors can never have legitimate reasoning" is dumb. In history there have been a lot of times where oppression was used by people who had legitimate reasons at the start, and viewing how those conflicts and tensions formed is interesting and can help create some really cool stories in fiction.
@@elsienova4269 In real life, racism and prejudice is stupid and pointless
One problem I have with the series is the confusion (and occasionally negative continuity) in regards to various species. For example:
-Demons and monsters are apparently two different things, since demons are trusted by the royal family, and thanks to The Magic Book of Spells, we know that Celena the Shy was half-demon.
-River does not know what a toilet is, so it's implied that mewmans and humans are biologically different, yet later in the series, mewmans are established to have been the descendants of humans, and also, a toilet shows up in Mewni later on.
-Non-human/mewman characters like Ponyhead, Rich Pigeon, and the Magical High Commission aren't considered monsters. So what are they?
-Do all mewmans go through mewberty, or just the royal family? Also, why does only the royal family have cheek marks?
Edit: Star acknowledges the third point in S3E9, but it's never touched on again, and Moon, being flanderized into a racist asshole, ignores everything Star said.
I could give a theoretical answer for the toilet thing.
Star and her father were more amazed that ‘earth toilets’ flushed and assumed it was magic. Since Mewni is more medieval, but the mewmans (descendants of humans) needed to use the restroom, their ‘toilets’ are more like loos or outhouses; there’s no flushing, it either goes in a sewage hole and/or is cleaned out by sewage men to be despots of (or they use chamber pots and dump it themselves). Ie, Mewni has no proper indoor plumbing and used 18th century (at the latest) forms of toilets.
i'm assuming just the royal family goes through mewberty since they're the only ones with magic. only they have cheek marks because they are a sign of magic. no one else has magic
Biologically, they are all monsters (the solarean blades affected them), but some of the species had better relations with mewmans than others, so socially, they weren’t regarded as monsters. The butterflies have cheek marks because they had greater exposure to magic than other mewmans, because of glossrick giving their ancestor the wand. You can notice that their babies are born with cheek marks, which I assume is because their mothers being exposed to magic affected them when they were in the womb.
Can’t believe it was 5 years ago. I remember tuning in to watch the finale the day it came out. Along with that Blue Order video

Moon: You took my family from me. I did what I saw as right, I did not think that it would go this way!
How Eclipsa should've responded: Okay let's recount the details of what made you lose time with your family. I had to stop you from attacking my still shocked daughter I was trying and succeeding in talking down. You attacked my child, your people encased me in crystal, removed me from the history books, encased my love in crystal, my own people look down on me. Yet even with the mistreatment from my own people put, after brainwashing my daughter and making her run a school where she stripes the individuality from princesses... with all of that I still wanted you to be reuinted to Star. I forgave you. I wanted you to have your kingdom back. I wanted to show you who I was, you never gave me the chance. So one more time, what was it I actually did to deserve this betrayal again?
Moon: I well... I lost my memories!
Eclipsa: And now you'll cause others to lose their lives.
Moon's plan has so many holes in it. It's not funny.
Bionicle 3 did the betrayal twist so much better I swear

Can’t wait to hear the pure agony and anger when season 3/4 comes up.
I remember watching the episodes as they aired and then eventually stopped around the end of season 2, so I decided to rewatch the entire show on Disney + more recently to see how it ended and the drop off in quality is actually so bad it kind of ruined my enjoyment of the original seasons.
the downfall of this show need to be studied by generations at this point, i still wonder what was happening to the writers while producing season 4
Probably high or drunk.
@@ladyheavdev maybe both?
@@Dr_Plasma Definitely lol
They wrote the show as the seasons went on. They had no idea how to end it and fired the one person who was in charge of continuity (legit midway season 3). They also cared more about the fan service 😭💀 the other show to do the exact same thing was Voltron
The writers were rushed by Disney. They had the rug pulled from under them when they thought they’d have 1 more season
I always thought it was funny that Star has a ton of cool casual outfits, (which is very rare to see in cartoons) while nearly everyone else has a default look.
A two and a half hour ranking video of a show I know nothing about? I know how I'm spending my afternoon :)
2:18:50 Using Sonic 06’s Solaris Phase 2 Music is a nice touch as a tone to tear down one of most infamous finale in any children’s cartoon.
Christ, Wasn’t expecting something this big! Can’t wait to hear you vent about how good it used to be more than the hate!
Regarding Ludo conveniently ending up on Mewni in Ludo in the Wild: I think the implication is that the green energy that rushes past him and sends him crashing into the planet is in fact a manifestation of Toffee from within the wand, leading Ludo toward the wand to further his plans.
As awful as Season 4 is, I give it props for 2 things:
1) It was very cool to see it integrate parts of the spell book that came out in real life after Season 3 into the story.
2) Janna randomly appearing on Mewni in Season 3 was originally just a silly joke about how unpredictable and unhinged she is, and then Season 4 made it into a significant plot point. I've never seen a show recontextualize a seemingly one-off joke from an entire season ago like this, and I still consider it one of the most genius things a show has ever done.
1) that was actually stupid, because not everyone had the book
2) wow.
@@eatatjoes6751it’s not stupid? The book was made to put more lore into the show. And then the show uses it. Just because not everyone has the book doesn’t mean they can’t use that content for their show
@@eatatjoes6751 It would only be stupid if the show depended on you reading the book in order for it to make sense. That's not what it did. It presented the information from the book in a way that's perfectly digestible on its own.
Adventure Time does that a lot (recontextualising jokes as serious plot points). once they turned an animation error into a plot point
My head timeline is wild because SVTFOE ended in May of 2019, which seems so ancient, but Minecraft 1.15 released the same year in December.
I love the intermissions you added to the video, it makes the narration that much more charming.

@@leviticusprime4904 huh
@leviticusprime4904 I don't know what this is, but I have a weird sixth sense with certain pieces of media and feel like jumping ship at a certain point.
It happened with Miraculous: Ladybug. And it happened with Star vs. I left the show after Season 2 and never revisited it since, and I can see why.

2 and a half hours on a cartoon you've already talked about repeatedly? thank you for your service, bruv 🖖
Star vs had the potential to stick the landing, but the writers tripped and fumbled the plot hard due to focusing more on the relationship causing the show to get worse over time.
This show made me hate shipping.
Which is funny when you consider that Star and Marco are based off of the creator and her husband. I think Tom was also based off of her real life exes as well.
The animation quality dip at the halfway point of season 01 is kinda wild.
Just something i noticed as i watch the video
I still find it funny how Star's strongest spell, 'Spider with a Top Hat,' was only useful once, and all the other times he was used, he failed.
Wow, I forgot how expressive this show was in its early seasons because of how it looked when it ended, not terrible by any means but man that first season’s animation was just better
I honestly really appreciated the intermissions. I'm not really one for long-form videos, so they gave me the perfect opportunities to pause and go do something else before coming back and picking this video back up.
Not too shabby my man, can't wait for more ranking videos.
Thank you for making such a fantastic video on Star vs. the Forces of Evil. Even five years after the series ended, this series has a special place in my heart; seeing you make this video really made my day. Yep, it had a bad ending, and bad writing and shipping ruined the third and fourth seasons, although they have some good episodes in those seasons. Fans have debated what went wrong on the show. I think it’s agreed that the creator, Daron Nefcy, may have just been bad at writing an ongoing story. No offense to her as a person, but I heard that this was the ending she wanted, and it’s clear that she and the writing staff just lost sight of how to write a good story for this series. Despite all that, this show has a special place in my heart.
By the way, there’s one more thing I want to say: you were mad about the Marco storyline of him moving to Mewni when he could’ve just used his dimensional scissors to travel between there and Earth; honestly, I understand why you’re not a fan of that storyline, but I do believe they were setting up something and that Marco was becoming obsessed with being a hero and obsessed with adventures to the point where it was consuming his life. Marco‘s mother even talked to him about his obsession, sharing the time that she was obsessed with French culture to the point where she moved to France before she moved on, and it became clear to her that Marco was experiencing something similar to her. I believe that the episode Running with Scissors foreshadows that strolling with Marco forgetting his password, while the writing staff insists that Marco has no memories of his time in that magical dimension where he aged; I believe that his obsession with adventure started here. The writers could’ve been trying to do something with Marco being obsessed with adventures and being seen as a hero because he couldn’t handle a life without Star anymore. Immediately, though they failed to make that storyline make sense and work, I don’t believe it was something they just added for no reason.
Again, please tell me what you think about what I said and if you want to answer me. If not, I understand. Thank you for your time, and thank you so much for making this video. It means a lot to me and probably means a lot to a lot of fans of the show and your fans. ❤
P.S. I heard Marco getting his high school equivalence to skip his junior and senior years was based on Nefcy doing the same thing as a teenager.
I’m sure this video took a TON of effort, but if you ever decide to do one of these, it’d be cool to see you talk about every Amphibia episode! Great video as always!
Can I just say how much I appreciate your act breaks between seasons. No one else does that and I wish they would. Genuinely so many props to you @Cartoonshi
The only good part of Trickstar is that Weird Al voiced the magician and I can't dislike an episode featuring hm
Oh man… despite Cartoonshi not hesitating to show his deep hatred for season 4 of STFOE, I’m impressed he could get through this without giving himself an aneurysm
This and Total Drama were probably the saddest cases of seasonal rot I have seen.
Both started off really great, however, while the following seasons were still good, the problems that the shows had kept getting bigger and bigger, leading seasons to degrade from good to mixed/okay. Then, it collapsed in on itself with one AWFUL season (Star Vs. Season 4, Total Drama Season 5/All Stars) leaving it to be the show's legacy for the rest of time. And what’s extremely sad is that both had great ideas that were not used or used horribly to focus on bullshit and when they are the focus, they’re not enough to overshadow the rest of the garbage.
If that isn't sad, I don't know what is.
Sweet your back this time with a longer video
Eclipsa: Gets betrayed my all of Muny for years because she married a monster.
Mina: Tries to kill multiple races/minorities. Gets away scot free. And is not killed or even arrested.
🤨
except for that monster girl who tried to kill her and the fact that she has to be watching her back 24/7
I used to love this show. I was obsessed with it. At the time I didn't really see these problems. But man going back through this review, I loved the Battle for Mewni when it first aired but now I am seeing just how poorly paced and horribly ended it was. Imagine building up a character who everyone said could not be killed except for a very specific spell. Then Star somehow shows up out of nowhere and kills him instantly. It goes against everything they built up and every part of Toffee's character.
The degradation of the animation from season 1 and season 2 wasn't something I really noticed because I was so interested in the lore and the character development. But WOW you're right. The difference between season 1 and the other seasons is night and day. Season 1 had so much personality and wasn't afraid to get weird and cartoonish. Season 2 and onward feels so sanitized.
And of course, that ending. Even when I was deep in this show's lore and discussion, I still despised that ending. Easily one of the dumbest ways to end a cartoon. The implications of everything that happened from Mina going free, to killing off countless magical beings to save a small group of monsters and the gravity of what they actually did JUST TO MAKE STARCO happen should be studied for how much of a trashfire it is. Truly a disappointing way to end a series with fun characters, great action sequences and intriguing lore.
At least our boy Ludo got the ending he deserved.
I really love how you put breaks between seasonal ranking. It's very nuanced for these ranking videos to allow a perfect place to pause.
ITS OUT!!!! HOORAH
I kinda wish Mario and Jackie stayed together, instead of having this forced breakup. Nothing is keeping Marco from traveling back and forth from Earth to Mewni, or keeping him from bringing Jackie along.
Also, the Starco thing in "Here to Help" annoys me to death because they're basically retconning Marco's feelings for Jackie just because they wanted Starco to feel genuine and had written themselves in a corner with that whole Blood Moon Curse thing. Marco basically revealing that he fell in love with Star from the beginning (he says that he "liked" her, but c'mon, context), is probably done so that Marco and Star still had genuine feelings from before they were cursed at the Blood Moon Ball, but also means that his crush on Jackie is pretty much moot and him feigning his true feelings _from the very first episode onwards..._ which pretty much contradicts with "Naysaya", in which the Naysaya curse appears when Marco tries to ask Jackie out, and it gets revealed that the curse _specifically appears when the cursed person tries to ask out _*_their true love._* This should mean that Marco was NOT feigning his feelings for Jackie at all, as his crush on her goes WAY before he ever met Star, and thus should mean that Marco did NOT fall for Star from the beginning. And yet, here we are, because Starco being endgame without it being forced upon by a curse is apparently more important than any other ship, timeline consistencies, or both.
Didn't he want nothing to do with her at the beginning to the point he said he didn't want to live in the same house. But then he magically does a 180 out of nowhere when she comes to apologize at the bodega and then he was like WORSHIPPING HER from then on? Idk it's been years lol
It's like the writers were trying to make Starco genuine and as "true love" but instead all it did was make it feel even more forced.
@@ramirolosadamedina7843 Definitely 🙄🤢
honestly the 4th season and ESPECIALLY the finale of Star Vs. had every right to get shitted on.
The first half wasn't that bad. The second half was trash. I wished they kept Starco dead. Dead like Kanye West's career, Dead like Krato's chances to return to Fortnite, and ten feet underground
love the intermissions, one of the best quality episodes lately
I started watching this video immediately after getting a blahaj and feel the most highest sense of validation and euphoria possible through 5 seconds of a youtube critique
the rhythm thief, sonic mania, deltarune, undertale and p5r music was a CRAZY read of my music taste
Eclipsa is the strongest queen in the show, she's so strong she had to carry the entire show itself on her shoulders for the later half.
May 19 2019 was the day chaos erupts
Thank you for providing a good video to watch while I eat cartoonshi
Cartoonshi with another vid, now thats how you start a day right ✅️
I'll go on a whim here and say that the idea of romantic relationships playing a core in Star VS is not a bad one. It's clear from early episodes like the ones with Star's weird puberty form and Nancy's interviews that one of the main focuses in creating the series was that experience of a person going through the stages of maturing, mostly centered around a girl's experience but not exclusively. I feel that the show was at its best in the episodes where it managed to quite perfectly combine that together with the weight and responsabilities Star and her friends had of stopping actual evil, violence and protecting others. The problem was like in many cases, execution, and how towards the end the show knew it couldn't wrap up everything in a good concise way before the finally so both "sides" of what made Star VS compelling got shafted hard.
For your first ranking video, this was really good. Wouldn't mind if you did another one.
Do you think the crew of Amphibia and the Owl House looked at Star Vs and tried not to make the same mistakes with their finales?
Failure can be a teacher
The fact that both SVTFE and GoT ended the same day and both shows had such afwul endings that ended up damaging the reputation of the shows to the point that they became unwatchable is baffling but also hilarious
LETS GO 2+ HOUR CARTOONSHI VID‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼
Move over responsibilities! I got a 2 and half hour cartoonshi video to enjoy!
I don't even like Star Vs and that includes all the seasons. But I still just had a good time watching Toonshi cover all the episodes, good stuff
