Not warming up properly. Controller players sometimes do warm ups but I noticed a lot do not properly warm up. To truly warm up and get a much more strong grip on controlling aim n shit, turn off aim assist and practice vs bots in multiplayer without it. If you dont have mp, the dummys in the firing range work but they do not move much so you cannot practice tracking very well. There is a process in the brain known as “Neuroplasticity” and this process, simply put, is it just your brain and reinforcing neural connections. By practicing without the aim assist, you have to be very precise and this drills it into your muscle memory. I believe the reason a lot of people think that streamers are cheating is because streamers have been playing at one sensitivity for so long that they have absolute mastery over it and that mastery can only come from countless hours of practice.

I started a book club with a friend recently (2 months so far) and people here talk about the books they read and others will share their opinions; so far we have 24 members and it's growing so fast, I mostly read scientific books such as a brief history of time by Stephen hawking. I also started reading Self-knowledge and psychology books and they are my favorite! However, I also play games some days for 1-2 hours, but mostly testing them as that's what I enjoy more than playing 😅

I have many clips on bots in private matches and in the shooting gallery where I adjust audio settings and my aim is affected. Pretty much any setting I alter after getting my controller settings just right affects it. Also changing my sensitivity in other games affects it when I come back to cod. Its wild. I play on PS5.
3:20 CoD does not have sound problems for me. I perfectly hear left to right and if I pay attention, I know if they are above or below me I do not think that there is an audio issue, I think the issue is that people do not use good headsets or earbuds. I’m on ps5 and I have the 3D audio there and 100% it does make a difference. No matter which headset I use ($70 walmart headset or $300 steelseries headset), I can hear pretty much 360, horizontally and vertically Maybe ive accidentally unlocked a hidden sound buff but I never have issues with audio anymore
@@DanielZH idk, i feel like it’s really the 360 spatial audio feature in my ps5. When I set that up, audio quality greatly increased. It really has to be that, people are playing audio thru the tv OR they have their sound set to Mono instead of Stereo
Apologies if I’m waffling haha, I usually practise my aim in the firing range when I hop on and obviously since they aren’t moving targets I don’t move my left stick and slightly pull down on the right and my aim assist feels fine, but on multiplayer I feel it’s pretty shaky as I’m used to moving both my sticks to keep track it almost feels like each fight I have to let go off one stick so rotational aim assist can kick in as it feels like I’m shooting around the person and not directly on them, I’m not sure if I’m making a lot of sense but any tips on that so it feels more sticky? I’m playing default and linear curve on console
@Unknow88 get a oled monitor. Obviously 1440p will have less since it's using less computing power. With an oled the input lag doesn't change with different hz rates like a typical monitor
Hi, if you mean that you feel it's hard to move or feels heavy, yes, a more linear curve (0 slope scale) can help, even with dynamic, and if you still feel it's slow, down to 95 for right stick max can help a little, but lower than that is too much.

I played on 95 left stick and right stick and it felt perfectly fine, I finally felt like I found a sensitivity that works, bc I used to change my settings frequently and it was bad, but after the update my aim just feels way off

Hi, no it doesn't matter then, if you change the in-game settings, it'll only apply for the game, but if you change from the console, it'll be for everywhere, however changing from console is better, from the last test I made there was no extra delay, but changing from the in-game settings added a little more delay in some cases.

I use a short on left and tall on right, and for whatever reason, it definitely made a difference for me and helped my sniping game a lot. It also helped my run and gunning as well. Adjusted the left max a bit, and my game play is great. Hope this helps.

Hi, thanks, if your monitor doesn't have a higher input delay in 1440p (you can check in Rtings.com) there's no point in using 1080p when it comes to COD on PS5.

@@JEROMEXC Oh I see, on PC it's very different, check render time delay from your graphics card app in real-time, it can affect yes, in my case I play on 1440p on PC and the Input delay for rendering frames is 2ms lower compared to 4K even though both work fine with my specs. the same could happen with 1080p.

Hi Daniel, I have a quick question? I adjusted my slope scale on my dynamic curve to 05. I would like to know why is it affecting my movement speed I seem to be moving a lot faster. I'm able to snap on targets very fast however I'm not experiencing any slowdown. Is this because the curve is not getting a chance to decelerate?
@DanielZH Yeah I actually had something similar to this today but only one game. I was able to jump and move in any direction quickly like xDefiant. Movement speed was faster too. Wish I could recreate it tho :(

Hi, any standard USB C cable works well with DualSense Edge, even your phone charger cable (if it's type C) the only thing I would suggest is getting a known brand, since Edge supports 1000Hz through USB 2 as well, cable doesn't matter that much IMO. I use a Baseus Cable Type-C and it works without any issues. however it's too much for Edge anyways, as this one is around $5 I guess (Supports 30W), but the quality is good.
@@DanielZH I assume that by changing the button layout it adds an extra step which causes delay. It might be why people prefer paddles over playing bumper jumper or tactical/stick and move.
I use 10, 10 sensitivity on a 5 deadzone, still waiting for my stick module to arrive. Can’t wait to turn the deadzone to zero. As a console player I try to use every advantage when I go up against PC players, but I will preface by saying in most scenarios the thing that pc has in warzone is audio, it’s very imbalanced.
Pc has higher frames, faster response times, less input delay, better audio etc!! Someone running at 240 to 300 fps on screen moves about 0.4sec faster the someone on 60 to 120 fps! I've built pcs and done multiple test of pc vs console and your at a super disadvantage
What did they change about black ops aim assist? Also overclocking the controller helps with controller response time but only works on PC as far as i know
Hi, yes OC only works on PC, Edge however is 1000Hz by default, no OC is needed, Black Ops is identical to Default now except a bit more rotational AA on the left stick for mid range, before it was stronger then it got worse and weaker and now it's like this.

i moved to 20-20 dynamic as a bet with a friend. With control freaks and the fly digi apex hall effect sticks 0 drift and a ,8 multiplier on ads. My shot has never been better. I have no idea why. Hi, if you have a stable connection (ping) and packet loss 0, and a speed of over 50Mb/s IMO, it's fine, no affection, otherwise it may affect network, and by affecting the network, everything can get worse! but not FPS though!
question, so i just got a pc, coming from console 10+ years & i used a scuf for the first time ever on PC,with me having to use scuf i had to download a program in order for me to run it & map buttons etc. , i didn’t really like the feel of the scuf after some time so i switched to a regular ps5 controller & now my frames are dropping to near half of what i get which is 170fps, please help with any fix guys, everything was running fine up until i tried playing with my ps5 regular controller & plugging it in.

@@DanielZH yes it happened when i started using dualsense, but i did some research & a lot of people had the same problem a while back, supposedly there was a patch & it was fixed what i did was uninstall the scuf app entirely & restarted my PC now it works? could’ve be that it was the scuf program running in the background all along confusing the ps5 controller making my frames drop?

Hi, correct, I run through a Capture card though, Super res on 0 - overdrive balanced - BE default (10) contrast 50 - gamma 3 - sharpness default (5) - Aim stabilizer off. However, I sometimes play on TV too (LG C2) but I like the monitor because of being smaller, TV is good when I chill and sitting further for movies or story games.

Also getting 120hz with my 1.4 HDMI somehow) My question is this, for strictly competitive FPS games (COD specifically), is upgrading to a monitor capable of 120hz @ 1440p (with the 2.1 HDMI) better than my current setup which is my 120hz @ 1080p (1.4 HDMI)?? Remember, my 1.4 HDMI outputs 120hz, but I know the 2.1 has better audio channels, is this difference noticeable? LET ME KNOW, THANK YOU!
Hi, if you're asking specifically for COD, with a 1440p monitor the picture will be sharper, but about input lag, etc., it depends on the model, you can check rtings.com for that.
Would I have to have the Dual Sense Edge to be able to edit button layout on console? I have my own crazy button layout, would love to reduce input delay as much as possible.
All FOV affections are due to the changes of speed in higher FOV (faster with the same settings) so in all cases if you lower Sensitivity a little it'll feel the same.

0-100 will work the same as 0-1, the first shot is faster so it's better imo. yet I suggest R1 if you always use them, but change from console settings, not in game.

Hi, deadzone on Zero (both console and game) is the least you can go, but some say the distance that is travelled before reaching the min is more than normal dualsense, I should test it with physical tools and will let you know how it goes and if there's a fix.
@@DanielZH yes I might test my normal duel sense. With the edge I can aim at a wall and lightly flick the right stick and my aim does nothing. There's a decent amount of movement whilst having no impact. Very annoying when pre aiming, wanting to react

There's another setting in ps5 for making the screen smaller on the monitor. Does that affect the delay if i make the pic or image screen smaller on the monitor. I play on a benq 1080p monitor.

overclocking controller doesn't affect the aim assist window size nor strength, but maybe in other ways it does, however there's more research and proof needed to claim that, but so far as I tested on PC, it doesn't affect that.

FPS is almost identical, the input delay increases by 1080p, PS5 doesn't work like PC, in-game Res is not affected by console output (at least not in COD)

I noticed you have L2 input range From 0 to 1 but R2 from 0 to 100. Why is that? For COD, isn’t it better to have both triggers set from 0 to 1?
Hi, yes you can, I have in-game set to 0 and trigger effects off, so it'd be still like 0-1.
I have my fidelityfx cas setting on 50% too, i tested it at 0% 50% and 100%
50% is perfect for sharpness and it doesn't affect fps for me.

Hi, if you mean that you feel it's hard to move or feels heavy, yes, a more linear curve (0 slope scale) can help, even with dynamic, and if you still feel it's slow, down to 95 for right stick max can help a little, but lower than that is too much.

I played on 95 left stick and right stick and it felt perfectly fine, I finally felt like I found a sensitivity that works, bc I used to change my settings frequently and it was bad, but after the update my aim just feels way off
Sounds good, as if you kept slope scale on a high value, you can try lowering Slope Scale for a more responsive stick while having full zone.

Hi, no it doesn't matter then, if you change the in-game settings, it'll only apply for the game, but if you change from the console, it'll be for everywhere, however changing from console is better, from the last test I made there was no extra delay, but changing from the in-game settings added a little more delay in some cases.

I use a short on left and tall on right, and for whatever reason, it definitely made a difference for me and helped my sniping game a lot. It also helped my run and gunning as well. Adjusted the left max a bit, and my game play is great. Hope this helps.

@@JosephBassil-o9h It's mostly because you have more control over speed with less slope scale and AA can't keep you, while with higher slope, it pulls you in even more, it's normal but if you feel aa isn't smooth, try a bit higher slope scale.

Hi, thanks, if your monitor doesn't have a higher input delay in 1440p (you can check in Rtings.com) there's no point in using 1080p when it comes to COD on PS5.

@@JEROMEXC Oh I see, on PC it's very different, check render time delay from your graphics card app in real-time, it can affect yes, in my case I play on 1440p on PC and the Input delay for rendering frames is 2ms lower compared to 4K even though both work fine with my specs. the same could happen with 1080p.

I would like to know why is it affecting my movement speed I seem to be moving a lot faster. I'm able to snap on targets very fast however I'm not experiencing any slowdown. Is this because the curve is not getting a chance to decelerate?

Hi, any standard USB C cable works well with DualSense Edge, even your phone charger cable (if it's type C)
the only thing I would suggest is getting a known brand, since Edge supports 1000Hz through USB 2 as well, cable doesn't matter that much IMO. I use a Baseus Cable Type-C and it works without any issues. however it's too much for Edge anyways, as this one is around $5 I guess (Supports 30W), but the quality is good.

I use 10, 10 sensitivity on a 5 deadzone, still waiting for my stick module to arrive. Can’t wait to turn the deadzone to zero. As a console player I try to use every advantage when I go up against PC players, but I will preface by saying in most scenarios the thing that pc has in warzone is audio, it’s very imbalanced.

Hi, yes OC only works on PC, Edge however is 1000Hz by default, no OC is needed, Black Ops is identical to Default now except a bit more rotational AA on the left stick for mid range, before it was stronger then it got worse and weaker and now it's like this.

So I set the deadzone to 5 for left and 6 for right, it helped
i moved to 20-20 dynamic as a bet with a friend. With control freaks and the fly digi apex hall effect sticks 0 drift and a ,8 multiplier on ads. My shot has never been better. I have no idea why. question, so i just got a pc, coming from console 10+ years & i used a scuf for the first time ever on PC,with me having to use scuf i had to download a program in order for me to run it & map buttons etc. , i didn’t really like the feel of the scuf after some time so i switched to a regular ps5 controller & now my frames are dropping to near half of what i get which is 170fps, please help with any fix guys, everything was running fine up until i tried playing with my ps5 regular controller & plugging it in.

@@DanielZH yes it happened when i started using dualsense, but i did some research & a lot of people had the same problem a while back, supposedly there was a patch & it was fixed what i did was uninstall the scuf app entirely & restarted my PC now it works? could’ve be that it was the scuf program running in the background all along confusing the ps5 controller making my frames drop?

Hi, correct, I run through a Capture card though, Super res on 0 - overdrive balanced - BE default (10) contrast 50 - gamma 3 - sharpness default (5) - Aim stabilizer off.
However, I sometimes play on TV too (LG C2) but I like the monitor because of being smaller, TV is good when I chill and sitting further for movies or story games.

My question is this, for strictly competitive FPS games (COD specifically), is upgrading to a monitor capable of 120hz @ 1440p (with the 2.1 HDMI) better than my current setup which is my 120hz @ 1080p (1.4 HDMI)??

What about Weapon FOV? Wide Fov gives you less AA and Fps
All FOV affections are due to the changes of speed in higher FOV (faster with the same settings) so in all cases if you lower Sensitivity a little it'll feel the same.

0-100 will work the same as 0-1, the first shot is faster so it's better imo. yet I suggest R1 if you always use them, but change from console settings, not in game.

Hi, deadzone on Zero (both console and game) is the least you can go, but some say the distance that is travelled before reaching the min is more than normal dualsense, I should test it with physical tools and will let you know how it goes and if there's a fix.
@@DanielZH yes I might test my normal duel sense. With the edge I can aim at a wall and lightly flick the right stick and my aim does nothing. There's a decent amount of movement whilst having no impact.

There's another setting in ps5 for making the screen smaller on the monitor. Does that affect the delay if i make the pic or image screen smaller on the monitor. I play on a benq 1080p monitor.

overclocking controller doesn't affect the aim assist window size nor strength, but maybe in other ways it does, however there's more research and proof needed to claim that, but so far as I tested on PC, it doesn't affect that.

FPS is almost identical, the input delay increases by 1080p, PS5 doesn't work like PC, in-game Res is not affected by console output (at least not in COD)

the picture delay, however is dependent on your monitor response, no need to change if you play for fun, you can wait until there are better HDMI 2.1 Monitors with a better price to upgrade. currently, they are too expensive.
