  • Offa's Dyke is the old border between England and Wales. There is a national (long distance) path, all 177 miles of it, going to/from Chepstow at the southern end to Prestatyn at the northern end.
My friends and I did this walk in TWO separate sections. The southern half (Chepstow to Brompton) was done in April 2022. The northern half, Brompton to Prestatyn ,(this film) was done in April 2023.
It was good to split it into two separate halves, as it is easier with work and families to book just 6-days off at a time, and for anyone prone to strains/blisters, it gives people a chance to recover.
On the southern half my drone had a technical difficulty, and I didn't have my 360 degree camera with me as a back-up... so I didn't get to film it. I do however, intend to go back to all of the special bits now that my drone is working again, in order to capture the beauty of that section. Be patient!
