How are the fees for award flights calculated? I saw united only charges $5.60 but when I booked through flying blue I had to pay around $250 round trip 😕 I saw there the fee was just around $85 one way in your video, why such a difference?
Every program operates under their own rules and design for what carrier imposed surcharges are in place. Unfortunately, we don't have insight into how those are calculated.
