My screen fell off and the ribbon is torn so it looks like I am ordering a new screen.

At least the screen is removed already, and I only need to remove the back and some screws.

That glue doesnt make it water proof does it?

It should, if applied correctly, as the T7000 stuff is classed as waterproof.
