Getting ready to buy my first air fryer, this video is so helpful, thank you sir!
Glad it helped
This is a wonderful machine. I’ve had it for years and it’s never failed me. I think you will enjoy this.
I hope so too!
My first comment is if you're not on radio, you should be with that voice. I was just given one of these earlier today and need to hurry up and use it because the game's about to start (Go Eagles!). This video is a great shortcut showing how to get started right away. Also love how you pull out the tape measure, show where the incoming air comes through and the comment about the exhaust. The quick edits get right to the point and the examples with the two different kinds of food were a good choice. Thanks for this! Gonna go air fry some brussel sprouts now!
Thanks for the compliments! Glad I could help and I hope the brussel sprouts turned out!
Radio voice indeed! He sounds lovely! Yes, Go Birds...... Maybe next year !🦅🪶💚😀
I have this same model, and so far I like it. I don’t think it’s quiet though. But since the noise doesn’t interfere with the cooking, it’s no big deal. This is a good size for cooking for one or two. 👍
My brother just gifted me with one of these, no instructions, was afraid to not know how to use it,you made it so easy....sooooo sooo eassyyy❤
Perfect reference video for the size of the air fryer! Just what I was looking for! 🎉
Glad it was helpful!
Food isn't dry. Cooks fast and great, especially in a hurry.
You could have pulled the fish out at 140. There is something called "after cook" that keeps the fishes temp going up.
We loved it too. Unfortunately these units are made to fail after roughly 100 uses. The fuse is replaceable but few would be lucky to know it’s a fuse, let alone find and replace it.
Last ninja junk I’ll ever buy. Wife and I both.
Some..😉✨People use them for years 😮..😂🎉...🤭
Great review! Thank you! 👌🏻 We’re looking for something neat and tidy for kitchen.
Glad it was helpful!
Once again stellar review. Thank you.
Great video. Getting dressed to go check it out. Curious what original price was. It's on sale right now for $90 or $70 if I go with one without the extra rack and recipe book.
I noticed that you didn't preheat.
Muchas Gracias 🙏🏼 me gustó su explicación muy fácil y entendible Dios lo bendiga mi amigo
I totally agree with @camaperture8116! You have a lovely radio voice! Thanks so much for this very helpful vid, just bought this air fryer (1st one) and glad I stopped by your channel for some how to's! Can't wait to use it. Thanks again!👍🏼👍🏼
thank you for the simple and informative video! (:
You're so welcome!
I only wish it had an auto pause when taking basket out to flip
Yes worrying
Saw this on sale and thought maybe time to upgrade my 6 year old air fryer
I like this has a dehydrator! Have you tried that feature?.
no i have not tried that yet
Just got one for family on Friday with 2 baskets. Wife, & Step kids claim its easy to use as they have used it before at wife's parents house but it looks very complicated to me even with reading instructions & watching videos.
Update. I have used it a couple times already & it was easier than I thought it would be. It wasn't complicated at all. Only have to figure temp control & time but that will come in time
Thanks for that! Much appreciated
Wish mine had a pause button
Do you need to pre heat or can you just throw in the fish without pre heating and set the temp and time to your preference?
I just got mine today from my gym trainer it was hers and iam excited to try it out I got questions does it cook pork chops in it
Other than the crisper my new AF a small Ninja, came with a metal basket, what is that for?
Does it have a plastic smell and does it make your food taste like plastic? Doesn’t the inside of the machine melt since it’s made of plastic?
Thanks your demo waz freat
Glad you liked it!
hello from Belgium ; I bought ninja AF101 and I am fun of ninja machines ! Can you put if you have time for air fryer recipes? just to see how you do .Thank you very much .Also where to put the air fryer because it seems very important when it is cooking .
I will try!
Is the nonstick coating Teflon or ceramic?
Ceramic
Can I use this model to make popcorn I just bought a cookbook and it's got a recipe to do it in the air fryer
Great Review! Right on POINT!
Much appreciated!
I just bought one of these and I'm confused. I was looking for a ceramic coating to avoid harmful fumes from non stick coatings... it says it's ceramic but yet it looks like a teflon type of non stick coating. It doesn't look like ceramic at all to me.
One question, on the crisping tray there are 3 rubber feet attached. Do those stay on or are you supposed to remove them?
they stay on, I thought the same thing.
Awesome
Thanks
Do you cook both the tray and the rack the tray sits on?
Can you use paper liners with the NINJA Air Fryer?
So I can put frozen fish straight in there?
Don't you need to preheat it?
Hmm. So about half an hour to cook the tater tots and salmon per person, seems to me the serving size used was for one. Just doesn't sound efficient. I'm betting the tater tots were cold by the time the salmon finished cooking. I want an air fryer but it's this lack of efficiency that keeps me from buying one. Have you made fries in it yet? Can you fill the basket 3/4 full and evenly cook all the fries? Thanks for the review.
The ninja dual basket solved that issue, but it’s too bad it’s so massive. 😭
equating 17 minutes to a half hour for the tater tots is wild lol! just use a higher temp and those tater tots will be done in 12 minutes
@@latortugapicante719yep! I do chicken nuggets at about 380 degrees and they’re done at about 10 mins!
That salmon was way overcooked.
Does it cook without oil😮?
yes
So my woman knows I hate cooking but she said I'll love thus thing.can you cook eggs ?
Can you fit a 4 or 5 pound chicken in it?
yes it is nice and deep just for that
@@JustADad thank you for the quick reply!
Just bought this and now I find out the range in temp is only 300 to 400? That's not good.
i think it goes down to100 or so; i think it limits 300-400 on roast mode
I just bought mine today. I believe you have to select ‘dehydrate’ so it’ll allow for the lower temperature (150).
Yikes! 145’, pull it at the 115’, let carryover bring it to 125’ and you would have had some moist salmon 😅
Mine has a horrible burnt plastic smell...not good.
The ones made in china stink. The ones made in Thailand do not.
I had the exact same issue with the Instant Air Fryer and returned it. That burnt plastic smell (maybe it was the teflon) stunk up the house for an entire day and made the food taste toxic.
Salmon was over cooked!
I HOPE you are only cooking that salmon to 145* because that's what the stupid USDA recommends and you don't want any liability. That looked like a dry piece of cat food. Salmon should never be cooked to 145* unless you like tree bark dry fish. Salmon should be still be pink in the middle and not gray.
I read somewhere that just drying out food not healthy at all this method
