I play a Magic: the Gathering Online Legacy League with a monoblack midrange deck. This list uses Necrodominance to gas back up after some trading, lifelink creatures giving us the ability to keep the cards flowing.

I think dark rit is till good because getting an early Sheoldred is huge

There is no room for dark ritual in this deck? It feels that it would fit right in, with so many good 3 mana stuff.

The reason I didn't include Dark Rit is due to how Scam decks require you to have a higher density of action spells to combat them thesedays. I played a meta deck a while back that had Dark Rits as SB cards and it impressed me

You should definitely add dark rits and replace a few lands with a couple chrome moxes and fell the profanes. I would even go as far as putting 2-3 sol lands to increase chances of getting out a t1 cavalry. You really want to be the aggressor with a proactive deck like this. I also find emperor of bones to be quite lackluster. Dauthi voidwalker still feels like the premium 2 slotter next to bowmasters in mono black. With that said,always enjoy watching you trying out some brews.
Please give helm, beseech the mirror, necro with 4 leylines in main a try. T0 leyline just wrecks so many meta decks right now.

@@ManaWelder I wouldn't go as far as use moxen and sol lands, ar this point it's an entirely different deck. But those 3 mana threats are begging for dark ritual.

I don't understand G4 mulligan. Isn't it better to keep 2 baubles knowing that if one resolves the other is at least a redraw (which might also help you find your 3rd land). It seems keeping three, 3 CMC Creatures with only 2 lands has potential to be much much worse. Backup bauble in unknown legacy match up might not be that bad, if it was a match up where you might actually need it.

That's a reasonable approach, the numbers game for lands was in my favour and I wanted to keep pressure so I kept a hand that had the bigger upside rather than the less disastrous worst case scenario. I wouldn't fault anyone for going the other way

37:08 why throw away your fetchland when you have push and they have grief? Better to use the basic land and try keep revolt no?

I wanted to play around a Stifle since my hand needed every land to count. They might not have had Stifle in their deck but it was pretty free to play around as the main thing I want to Push is Frog anyway
