Mocking bird would be good in this deck you can copy ninjas and they have flying then or just copy what ever is best your opponent has or a frog. Mocking bird is gonna be a staple across the board soon it’s so good I’ve been throwing it in everything

@28:00 if you had jumped the frog and forced a maze activation you would have stopped one more construct that turn and still had frog as a blocker. Not sure if that was enough to win, but it would have kept you just alive.

20:01 Doing a quick look over Maverick decklist and it looks like a lot of them are only running a single basic. Perhaps Floodmoon is now a viable option against them.

In game 1 of match 4 couldn't you have ninjitsued in Kaito after damage and drawing the cards, as your creatures remain unblocked attackers until end of combat? I know they scooped, but making an emblem post combat and having Kaito who dodges a Terminus and Supreme Verdict seems desirable.

Ninjutsu is a bit of a meme deck, but it's certainly playable.

I'm not sure what 75 that the Frog Doomsday was using, but if there was no LED, then I'm not sure what the same turn win would be. I don't think Psychic Frog is a good card in Doomsday, although I suppose it's a lot more straightforward to play for people who don't have experience with the deck.

45:44 This list is about 10% less likely to open a t1 on a 7 than GB. I’ve found it mulls a lot worse than GB generally too. You did keep a 7 the very first game that won though. I’d highly recommend adding a Lively Dirge over 1 Narco to increase consistency (both in mulls and draws). Pretty much everyone besides Faulted has cut the 5th Narco effect as it’s fairly useless in this meta

Thanks for the vid - and also for including leagues that go less than stellar. I think these are just as important. As for Metamorphosis Fanatic, the card is absolutely busted. Some of the most recent lists are already playing four. It's a bit unfortunate, for one because god knows UB frogginator was the last deck that needed an upgrade and secondly because the card is stupid expensive on mtgo...

Frog is extremely popular in Vintage where Daze is mediocre. Proof of concept that it is a problem in Legacy.

When Grist is in play, the number of creature cards in your graveyard is indicated in text at the top of the graveyard zone - the same way that it counts card types for delirium. It didn't matter, but in case you didn't catch it before.

Another Content Creator do 2:3 and claims Frog is too good. Frog is OK, but if you have Daze to protect it on turn two we have a problem.

Honestly, it’s just better to jam. Each turn that you pass back is one more opportunity for them to find interaction. This build is glutted with 2-drops and 18 is a tad short when you want to curve out, especially with your play style of waiting to have veil up.

Yggdrasil (Eeg-drah-sill) is the tree of worlds that exists as the "root" of the whole universe in norse mythology. The assassins creed games use some of that mythology as a backdrop for their games, hence why the AC set had it as a magic card

Back when I was tinkering with a W/U Taxes list, I was on something like 1-2 Thalia with the other 2-3 slots paired with Unsettled Mariner and Tax Collector as a tax option. Collector is silly with Soulherder (and a decent way to stall out stuff like Regent/Frog/Marit Lage if you choose the detain option), Mariner is a decent layer of protection against targeted removal, and both are silly with Delney in play (because I was already playing jank, so why not Delney?).

42:34 i think on this recruiter line you should have searched for the creature land, reason being is you have venser in hand and if you make it to next turn with venser and thee oup it’s just ggs, your bouncing two lands the first turn and keeping them time walked at minimum every turn after.

FYI. The reason for Emrakul > Kozilek if you're incredibly unlikely to ever cast either is that you sideboard mapping might work out such that you can board in Emrakul against Show & Tell decks, and sometimes just get a free win. I've definitely played Emrakul in the sideboard for this reason (and won with it against S&T).

Already off to a good start with "Ill-Lonered Temper" and "Ill-Loaded Temple"
