You are a trooper! You would benefit from a couple of plywood sheets. Use them to slide cars, build bridges or spreading the load when using a jack. In this case it’s probably easiest to build a sled. Jack up the car with beams and slide in the sled. Then pull the sled with your trailer winch from far away.
Your determination is admirable. As I sit in the comfort of my home with a rum and coke in one hand and the TV remote in the other. Brother, I wish I lived close to you as I would love to be there to help. Keep up the good work and keep the videos coming.
Sometimes you just have to get more help. It looks to me like it's too big of a job for just you. I don't know, the next time you go there, burn some sage. That place has bad ju ju.
We all know you will never give up Jason. I know you will succeed in the end so keep going, preferably get them out before winter though! Take care Jason. 👍👍
People used to drive these old VWs, then leave them wherever they break down. Now, people are trying to save them by any means necessary. Looking forward to you pulling them out and getting them home for inspection.
Jason your a hero man you will get those buses one day I have a suggestion when you are going on a mission make a check list to make sure you have everything and test run the chainsaws that way you have the best shot at getting them out it was unfortunate it had rained so much better luck next time my friend and I will be watching for sure best regards Andy Allen.
J, Good to see you out in the beautiful woods playing with your toys. What could be better than that (unless you had the little man with you). Take some deep breaths and enjoy yourself. Beats working🙂
Need those chain saws, cut some branches and small logs to compact and drive over. Also out some chain on the wheels for traction. A mini backhoe will be useful.
On your previous video, I commented that it was nice to see you not struggling with a vehicle recovery for once. Well, I see you're back to your normal routine.😂
(A) I really want to see inside of that house! (2) get a few guys together (subscriber party?🤔), mount some winches on/around some of those trees, and slowly pull those things out that way. Where there’s a will there’s a way, and you’ve definitely got the will part pretty well covered!😬
Man that looks like torture. But just keep at it. Eventually you will win! If you are going to be buying vehicles in places like this. You really need to invest in some aggressive mud tires. Add a front hitch to your tow vehicle so you can use a winch on the front of the rig.
Yum turkey roll 😁 Wow that roof is poo poo 😢 I give you credit brother, especially being there alone. I wished I was closer I would be there with ya. Too much went wrong! I feel bad for ya! Thanks for taking is along for all of the adventure!!
one thing about it. every time you get that much closer to success. hope the next attempt works. I thought maybe a backhoe, but from the looks of that terrain, it would just dig real deep ruts and make a huge mess.

Poor guy lol, can't say the man isn't trying, have you ever did a video of the house?? It would be cool to do a tour of the outside,or maybe not, something around that place that don't want you there lol good luck with them man
You're gonna need some manpower J. With the Ford so close to the rear bus.....gonna be like an archeological dig. Maybe enlist a local boy scout troop to assist.
you just rocketed up to first place and are standing on the pedestal of the waste of time Olympics platform, a definite gold medal performance, keep up the good work, been there done that. this is worth my subscription to your videos.
Man you need help, like i said before I wish I could help you bro, as they definitely need saving 🙏 Please dont give up, I know you'll get em eventually
I am sure it would be possible to change the direction of that stream a little bit withe the help of 30 sack of dirt at the right critical spots up the hill to dry this sucker out. However, on the other hand, that stream might as well be your rescue to get those cars out easier in the end. That cursed steam could be your blessing in the end. Best greetings from your German core viewers right out of the Alpine mountains in South Bavaria. Hang in there good friend, you can do it.
Lots of fun. Just be careful you don't run a stick up the underside of that BX. you will have a very good chance of taking out the plastic hydrostat cooling fan.
What would be REALLY depressing about this muckfest is if you didn't make a video of it! You need to make a sapling highway, or corduroy road, like old time loggers did, before skidders with huge horsepower, that can wallow about anywhere. Time to get into the luxury RV, parked just out of frame, and throw back a couple of cool ones! Thanks for sharing!
@@5150mxVW I’d help but I’m a bit far away in soggy West Coast of Scotland. Would it be worth while cleaning out the stream to try and get the water going away from the buses
look at how much you are learning about the outdoors and mud. you need to plan your rescue according to the weather. you get up there and attack it when its dry. usually late august. not after a big rain. it doesn't have to be that difficult. good luck
No, you didn't get it, but it wasn't for lack of trying... I think you are right, something is trying to tell you to leave them alone. Do you get the feeling that someone is in that old cabin watching you out the window ? LOL I like VW's but I don't like them , or any other car enough to go through all of that. I'll give you credit, you are devoted.

haha, there was a legit flowing stream running through them when i bought them. the main stream forked at some point , so I rebuilt the bank to get it stop flowing down the hill through the buses.
Dear 5150mxVW 😱🙈 Sir, besides all the Murphy's law things that happened, you simply must've a lot of masochistic potential in you!? 😁 ;-) 2) I already said it and I still say that you need a Mustie1, his all wheel drive backhoe, his 4WD pickup truck and his fantastic trailer. Maybe even his neighbour VWnut can help? It's definitely much more than a one man plus lil' Kubota job. Better luck next time, you hardcore VW fan. Thanks a lot for making explaining recording editing uploading and sharing. Best regards, luck, health and wisdom.

The real mystery is why you don't have a lucrative Kubota sponsorship after the last few vids. Hehehe. "Kubota. Goes where Nissan can't."
It's a mud, mud, mud, mud world.
Check out the video "1953 Barndoor lake salvage". They created a sled go put under the bus and pulled the bus out that way.
