I’ve been using sleep for quite some time. I use the schedule, view my duration of sleep, but work prevents me getting 8 or more hours most nights. I always use the phone, rather than watch to view and make changes. Larger screen there. The most confusing thing to me was what day the schedule was for. I finally found that the day refers to the day you’re waking up, not going to sleep. It’s confusing imo. The watch shows me night into next day when presenting the data.
@@EllensTipsForiOSThanks, Ellen. I had seen this before. Well, I do also have my Oura Ring Gen 3, but it’s nice to have a 2nd device like the Apple Watch to confirm the metric, if possible. Great channel. I am 73 and appreciate your success. Keep up the great content! 👍
You can give this a try. If it doesn’t work reach out to Apple. Settings / Notifications / messages / turn off notifications/ restart phone Settings / notifications / messages / turn on notifications. Hope this works for you.
Hi Ellen, I’m glad that I actually knew most of this, for a change. I didn’t know I could do it all on the watch though, I’ve made all my choices thru my phone. I personally haven’t found the sleep data particularly helpful 🤷♀️. It also took me a beat to figure out how to let certain contacts reach me even when Do Not Disturb or Sleep is ‘On’. That might be a useful video. Thank you as always. Your videos are very clear and helpful.
You are great, Hello to Americans grand ma and pa from Ukraine! God bless you! I only wonder if there a way that it will recognize when i go sleep automatically? Because i dont have any set schedules...
@@EllensTipsForiOS But what if i set that i go to sleep at 23 but i didnt, does it count this time like i did go sleep? Or it check hurt rate, watch position, activity to recognize that i still alive xD

Thank you! 😃
Ellen, how do I get the Health app to show Wrist Temperature more than 1x per week or so? I need it daily. Thanks, Ellen.

It recognizes my alarms. It also recognizes when I go to bed. So I see some data from my iPhone.

I still think it’s based on your sleep schedule but you can easily change it to manual activation in Focus Modes.
