This is a classic Origami granny, 2 Hexagons cardigan. We will use double crochet that are made not into the stitches but in between the posts of the double crochet stitches to make this absolutely gorgeous pattern. It also has a very beautiful border with the chainless double crochet sequence.

I’m plus sized and want to make this with a 3/4 sleeve but the body would have to grow,
so when I stop for the sleeves, how do I keep going when the stitch only goes in one direction?

Thank you for this tutorial! I was wondering, is it possible to make the sleeves shorter and not lose height on the panel? How do you suggest I go about that?
hi Karla. you can make the sleeves any length you like. if you want them more narrow, you can crochet rows on three sides of the hexagon - front, bottom, and back - to make your hexagon bigger and that will leave the sleeves the same size. I think I made most of my other hexagon jackets that way. if you like you can watch those videos to see how I make the “rows on three sides”. you can mix and match the techniques to make the jacket to your liking. 🥰

Your videos are lovely but, why do you speak so quickly during the instructions? You don't need to speak with a minute's pause but give the viewer time to follow you. One has to pause your videos continuously and rewind to keep up. Could you consider slowing down a bit? That would be great! Thank you.
