More info: rcexplorer.se/p... Discus launch glider is awesome! The way that they suck the energy out of the air is amazing. It's very addicting flying one!
To all the commenters that said that it would be better in English- you do know that RUclips provides optional English subtitles when the person is speaking a different language than what the device is set to. That is what I did. To David- it was pretty neat to see you speaking your own language. Which language is more comfortable to speak. Feel free to speak in your own language in your videos.
Mr David! We miss you back in the U.S. I only understood a few words, but what a great video. I'm going to learn swede, so that incan understand the specifics, but just watching is cool for now. Thanks David.
LOL at your defeated, sad expression when you dropped it. Glad it wasn't broken! What a cool video! I knew there were RC gliders but not ones you launched like this!
D - Many thanks for creating this wonderful video on DLG. I've been building and flying RC sailplanes for 3+ years, but your video on DLG was the first I had ever seen on these wonderful airplanes. Your video inspired me to order a Mountain Models DL-50 kit a few weeks ago, and I now almost have it completed. I look foroward to the fun you describe in your great video!! Thanks again! Dave - Kansas City USA
David, Yes, many thanks for this very helpful and interesting video on your F3K glider. You did great job flying and explaining, and the videographer did a fine job too. I've been building and flying RC for about four years now, but my recent discovery of DLG on the web has really inspired my interest. I have just started a prototype glider in my workshop. Thank you for the English translation also. Best regards from Kansas City, USA Dave
Nice video David. What a misshapp in the beginning :) well well. Good that you have a reliable tail feather supplier. Now you only have to work on the thermal work and to plan your flight. The throws looked good. When we see eacht other next time I will give you som work out. :) / Kajaken
that was great david somthing else I'll have to try. I've only been flying rc for a short while and love it. Used to fly control line when I was younger (a long time ago) I joined a club to learn rc and they have a few gliders there but use an rc tow plane so I've never seen a launch like that. A really informative video. Would be good to see gliders on flitetest.
I like that. I've been watching videos of the Alula, which can be launched in that way. By the way, I thought you'd like to know that you were flying beneath a nice cloud formation called a vertebratus at 3:45
You showed us some cool stuff and had subtitles so us English speakers could understand, and yet there are so many comments about the language you use. Some times people just baffle me.
Great glider. Also I have to say that the way you say "luft bremse, Masse luft bremse, Waaahhh" is just about the funniest thing I have seen in a long time :D :D
Awesome glider David, I also found you from flitetest. Can't wait to see more stuff from you. And a message to all those people saying to speak in english, why show such ignorance? David should speak Swedish in his own channel as much as he wants, be appreciative that he subtitled it! Some people amaze me with their stupidity! There are other countries and languages outside of the USA you know?
Hey David, good to see you back in action, nice little glider u have there. Where's the English subs mate. Also wouldn't mind seeing some more tri copter action. I just finished building my mini h quad.
Hi David, Saw you on Flite Test. Your videos are great. Glad to see you making videos for your homeland. Would it be to much extra work to add an English cc or subtitle? Thank you for sharing.
So that is why he is now a co host on another show called flitetest ?? here in America where as you have probably still work at Ms Donald's....My intentional spelling..
@kajakmannen Yeah that was quite embarrassing :) Yeah it's lucky that I have such good friends ;) By the time we meet I'll be giving you a work out ;) You'll see :D
And how you coming on that novel? The one you been working on for 3 years? Got a nice story line? Got a protagonist who needs to overcome some obstacles? Got a nice epilogue?
David, you make me laugh even when I don't know what you're saying.

First video I've seen in which David speaks Swedish, and what a beautiful Skaraborgs accent it is! Hôl i vägga!
LOL at your defeated, sad expression when you dropped it. Glad it wasn't broken! What a cool video! I knew there were RC gliders but not ones you launched like this!
I can't understand a word you say but I can see your good humour.
Nice video, thanks.

Holy shit! I have never seen that before!! The height he got on that launch was crazy!!!! David rocks.
You get some serious height with your launch!
@p3x197 The Hitec Aurora 9 uses telemetry and sends the voltage from the plane back to the transmitter. Works like a charm :D

You showed us some cool stuff and had subtitles so us English speakers could understand, and yet there are so many comments about the language you use. Some times people just baffle me.

grym video david! känns konstigt att höra dig prata svenska när man är van att höra dig prata engelska;)
Nice glider, I think that it would be interesting to fly.
Lol loving the family guy quote, that whats exactly what I was thinking at that point XD
This was just as funny as watching flightTest.Dave even drops the wing like in the west lol
Awesome glider David, I also found you from flitetest. Can't wait to see more stuff from you. And a message to all those people saying to speak in english, why show such ignorance? Such a pristine field for flying. Where is this?
Missed ya in Flitetest. Come on back!
Tjena david! Vet att videon är gammal men vad kostade allt förutom tx/rx å batteri?//Stort fan
Krásné moc tomu fandím.
David!
If you put a thermal camera on the glider with some real time video could you actually see the thermals?
What is the model name of the glider? I love it. Great video too.
I love hearing Swedish :)
It´s so diffrent but friendly ...
btw nice DLG
David getting himself some tail.
;)
This is what you start to look like when you fly rc planes for too long. Im going to take off this summer.
very nice
I want build my own. Do you even use the rudder? Can i fly good with only rudder? Adding ailerons(flaps will cost/weigh more.
I wonder what the aircraft speed is at time of release.
where do u order one of these hand launched gliders, i can only find covered balsa wing tossing gliders on tower hobbies.
How do you know if its out of batterys? Cuz the servos wont trip the low voltace cut. Or are you using a nimh/nicd wich can be run all the way down?
His voice is so much deeper when he speaks Swedish!
I would have never found this guy, if i hadn't of found Flite Test.
Do the aviator glasses give it longer flight time?
Very cool
That throwing power tho
that windbrakes lookslike more like turned flaps on
Hahah you remember that novell you been writing on.
