I live in Fort Pearce, Fl. I was quoted $1,200. Just to pull 1 tooth. Every other time I too my two dogs to local vets. The bill never came to less than $500. As that amount of money was not a option we were headed out to Indiana. With a referral from a relative I made an appointment to a local vet. He was spectacular. The bill for pulling 8 teeth and a cleaning as well as antibiotics came to $249.00 . For this reason we will no longer be able to adopt any more pets. Adopting and medical expenses are out of sight. You did the very best you could under the circumstances. Bless you.

But there are only so many hours in a day to take care of all the animals and give each one the attention they deserve not to mention the expense. But you have to draw the line. There are too many that need homes and you can't have inconsiderate people dropping them off at your farm. There are lots of rescue organizations out there. Keep taking good care of the animals you've got.

We had a dairy farm growing up and people dropped dogs and cats a lot. At one time we had 32 cats in the barn. They lived on warm milk with foam still on top of it and dry cat food. People that w anted a cat came to the farm to pick one out.

Oh Jason, my heart breaks for you. It takes a strong man to be able to show your feelings like that. I can tell it was so hard for you but you did what was best for you and for the puppy. There comes a time when you have to know your limit. If you took in every dog out there that needs a home you would end up hoarding and all of your animals would suffer.

Responsible people know when to say no. A realize that finding an animal another good home, helps more than just that animal, it also helps local shelters and rescues not have to turn down other animals in need.

I am so glad you have taken on the responsibility of rehoming that 11th dog. I thought that you were becoming a dumping ground for the unwanted animals in your area. It's not good but at least you all have the biggest ❤️💜 and know how to get them rehomed, really sad that it has landed on your family when the original owners don't do the right thing first.

Oh Jason, my heart breaks for you. It takes a strong man to be able to show your feelings like that. I can tell it was so hard for you but you did what was best for you and for the puppy. There comes a time when you have to know your limit. If you took in every dog out there that needs a home you would end up hoarding and all of your animals would suffer.

Omgosh those breeds are very active, used all over for herding, running on farms. How does she keep Jule inside? Beautiful baby! Foxy is just so sweet. The boys are very big,,summer is tough for Rock & Bandit & Foxy, just lots of fur! I don’t think DeeDee is 12, she just doesn’t look that old, maybe 9 or 10? They all really love you! Jason, you gave a wonderful informative video especially for people in Alabama, but everywhere too. Dogs are God’s angels, born with unconditional love to give. You & Brooke & Brooke’s Mom have lovingly taken in & loved several furrbabies, saved them too, but sometimes I ask, Who rescues who when we take in a sweet furrbaby? They all stay in our hearts & I hope & pray someday there will be no strays, people will learn to spay & neuter, that even shelters & vets will do that at big reduced pay.
