Hi mate I have been watching your videos with you and your partner riding two up. Taking the gold-wing place I did not think you Could go, on such a big bike. You make it look so easy mate. I am looking for a touring bike for some long trips abroad with the wife. I was looking at the BMW RT LE 1250. But I do love the gold wing. But I thought I would be limited to were I could ride it. But now I am thinking I must take one a test ride next spring now. 👍👍
Hi Andrew .. the goldwing will go places that smaller bikes can not ! The trick is it has reverse 👍 you can park anywhere.. also the weight is soooo low it’s great oven bad roads or what ever . Probably one of the best bikes for two up touring without a doubt but the RT is probably more sophisticated and lighter with a bit more power , it’s a tough call really . I don’t think the RT would be better two up but I’m sure the RT would be more fun ? I loved the goldwing and I also think the RT is probably the best around bikes for touring .. you need a good day on the wing to see what it’s all about but don’t ever think it has limitations , I go out with all sorts of bikes and it always fits in 👍

Roll on spring for some test rides 😀 been saving my pennies for a deposit so I don’t have to get rid of my beloved GSX1400 2007 model Suzuki. It has been all over Europe with the lads. Me and the wife have done The wild Atlantic way and Scotland but the bike when two up and luggage is a bit hard going on the suspension. But it’s a brilliant bike 👍
@@andrewmason2879fantastic bike ! I had the smaller brother the bandit 1200 back in the 90’s .. don’t for get you get 3 years free serving (including the big one) and 3 years warranty and 1 years tracker for free , worry free motoring for 3 years .. keep me posted!

@andrewmason2879 yea definitely keep me posted, when I had a go on the RT it was the most comfortable bike I’ve sat on ! Probably more roomy than the goldwing. The main reason I did get the wing was because of two up riding and the cult following.. I like something a little different from the normal.. it got a lot of love from the public when I was out on it
Watching this reminds me it’s already been a long winter… not long and we’ll see some warmer climes like this again hopefully 💪🏻
