I was overjoyed when the first cafe racer video for the gs550 that I searched for and found was a Malaysian one, when I saw the Myvi. haha. Brilliant build Jayson! Would loved to have seen an action camera clip of this being ridden around.
lol! wow its the first one on the list? i have since sold the beut, the new owner is updating the paint job and making some amendments with the seat to a covered one. maybe I can make another video with him when its done. thanks buddy!
Aye buddy! Grats on your new old bike! I think my handle bars are stock, its just that I installed it downside up. My original plan was to install clip-ons on it, but the guys at the shop didnt knock the front of the tank in for the clip on's clearance when turned.
Thanks for the reply, I thought they looked like flipped stock bars, that's great because I love the look and was hoping i could just flip mine, now I know. Great build and thanks again for the info!
Hey Bro! my builder took his time with this bike, I would say more than 3 months. Its really a looker, I have since sold it, I prefer a newer bike as I do not have the patience to tend to every problem classic bikes gives me (classic bikes needs alot of TLC).
Jayson Lai May i know how much is the cost to make bike like this. If u don't mind can u give a workshop name and location to me. I really need this. Thank you.
Jayson Lai Why you not share this information and knowledge to me and public. Don't be so stingy and selfish bro.. Today you help some people, and other day people you never know will help you.. Life is about give and take. Not only take but never give..
Normally I would apologize for being unavailable to reply instantly and proceed to pass out the information. But in your case, I don't owe you an apology. Do I have any reason to withhold that information to you? what did I take from you and never give to others? here you are feeling entitled and lecturing me about life. The cost was around 3500 USD (As you would have read in the comments) or in MYR its about RM14,000.00 Search for Kedai Motor Lean Seng located in Kg Melayu Subang near Subang Airport.
the idea of putting the handle bar upside down was some legit idea to do as instead of using clip ons
