WoW...nice bike bro...
what did you use for your left and right battery covers? nice build
Thanks buddy! its a metal fabricated cover, hand held hammer knocked.
looks great! what handlebars did you use? just bought a stock '80 GS550 and planning on converting it.
Aye buddy! Grats on your new old bike! I think my handle bars are stock, its just that I installed it downside up. My original plan was to install clip-ons on it, but the guys at the shop didnt knock the front of the tank in for the clip on's clearance when turned.
Thanks for the reply, I thought they looked like flipped stock bars, that's great because I love the look and was hoping i could just flip mine, now I know. Great build and thanks again for the info!
Wondering where you got the fork boots? great build btw
Did you have to rejet after the new mufflers?
nope. just installed it and away I go.
Jayson Lai thank you so much! So I’ve been running it like this for 2 years no problem?
Hi Bro! i have since sold it and riding on a newer bike buddy.
What tank is that? I've got a Marauder I'm converting into a cafe racer. It needs a new tank anyway.
hunter heape its the original tank from gs550 bro.
Jayson Lai Concaved in? I can't seem find one like that.
How much you want to sell this bike?
Sold this baby 2 years back buddy :D
Jayson Lai May i know how much is the cost to make bike like this. If u don't mind can u give a workshop name and location to me. I really need this. Thank you.
Jayson Lai Why you not share this information and knowledge to me and public. Don't be so stingy and selfish bro.. Today you help some people, and other day people you never know will help you.. Life is about give and take. Not only take but never give..
Normally I would apologize for being unavailable to reply instantly and proceed to pass out the information. But in your case, I don't owe you an apology. Do I have any reason to withhold that information to you? what did I take from you and never give to others? here you are feeling entitled and lecturing me about life. The cost was around 3500 USD (As you would have read in the comments) or in MYR its about RM14,000.00 Search for Kedai Motor Lean Seng located in Kg Melayu Subang near Subang Airport.
Jayson Lai So sorry bro. Thank you very, very much. Peace..
Nice built bro , I like your bike those color matches your theme on your bike ...so how long did you do it?i am planning to get one soon'
Hey Bro! my builder took his time with this bike, I would say more than 3 months. Its really a looker, I have since sold it, I prefer a newer bike as I do not have the patience to tend to every problem classic bikes gives me (classic bikes needs alot of TLC).
What did Hypercharge use on 535 and how did the adaptation?
Its a harley carb and alot of minor tweaking needs to be done, otherwise everything is fine and sound awesome.
@@jaysonlai7278 what harley-davidson carburetor did he use?
Hello, does anyone know the name of the song used in this video?
Anwar S its a song from a video editing program called camtasia
Thank you for getting back to me. Does it have a name or are you able to send me a mp3 version of it? :)
are those foot pegs universal bro ?
Yes sir!
👍👀 gut hopp top cool 👀👍.
Bike looks great. I'm building a '79 right now. Almost done. What are the foot controls off of?
Jason Fiegehen thanks, enjoy the journey! nothing beats building it yourself, unfortunately i didnt have the knowledge to do it
Very nice! Which slip-on muffler cans didi you use?
Greg Gregson Thanks for your comment, its a brand called "Proformance"
What’s the model number of the muffler please I like the sound
I was overjoyed when the first cafe racer video for the gs550 that I searched for and found was a Malaysian one, when I saw the Myvi. haha. Brilliant build Jayson! Would loved to have seen an action camera clip of this being ridden around.
lol! wow its the first one on the list? i have since sold the beut, the new owner is updating the paint job and making some amendments with the seat to a covered one. maybe I can make another video with him when its done. thanks buddy!
nice bike man! do you have a hard time looking for parts for this bike in Malaysia?
Calvin liwanda thanks! Fortunately parts are not really that hard, for my case at least.
hi, is your carb running on stock air box?
Hi Bro, stock. as advised by the bike shop owner.
kool man, how much did it cost you in total for all the customization? Even a rough estimate would help, thanks.
modification works and overhaul=USD 3,500.00
Damn, thts a sweet deal for your custom bike, was it is DIY project or it went to a workshop? And what State in US? Thanks
M Badi done by workshop, and im based in Malaysia. Would love to diy but aint got tools and knowledge lol.
