Yeah, I used this and also had the white on my head. And it irritated my scalp. My scalp felt like it was on fire, and I had to wash it out. I don't know if things would be different if I used all the products, as you mentioned, but the burn has me hesitant to try the product again. But yes, good price, I found it in my beauty store, and it has great hold.
No hate, just want to let you all know that Duchess Braids Edge &Braid Control leaves a white cast just like this one. I was told to use oil or sheen but it didn’t work.

I think a fair review would be you using all the products that are supposed to be used with the gel. Other products were not designed to work with that specific gel, and most people will make their products in such a way that it only works best with other products that they make because they are trying to sell all their stuff. I'd love it if you would purchase the stuff that was recommended to get out the white build-up and redo the style sing those. Then we can know for sure if it works or not. All in all, it was a good, neat style.

Hey Pana have you ever tried the African Pride black castor miracle extra hold braid Loc gel? I just recently bought it to try and I braided my 10 year Olds hair from him having the braided top and shaved sides. I'm growing it all out so his hair around the perimeter is about 1in or 2in give or take. I paired it with the blue magic green tea leaf hair grease. No white residue perfect grip, and hold!! It has been 3 days since its been done
I was using this product for doing my box braids and it was anew product I was trying and as I was using it my hair started to harden and white residue was so much. Real upset😭
At first it did on another client however when I tried it on my self for my edges babyyyyyy my edges styled laid all day no white build up I’m starting to believe products work with body chemistry 🤷🏾♀️

I like this gel, I learned you can put too much on in one area or it builds up. It has the best hold out of all the branding gels I have used.
