Just a tip, to eliminate puffy roots without braiding the roots. Twist the hair without moving down until you feel the hair is taut, almost like it's going to twist on itself. Then move down and twist the same way. Hope that made sense. I got this tip from Naptural85 and it made a big difference to my mini twists. No puffy roots.
I’ve been natural since 2015 and I had completely given up on twist outs until I came across this video and tried your method (perm rods and all!) and it came out amazing! 🤩It lasted a full week and it was still so soft!! I’m floored!!!! Thank you for your tutorial sis!!
Your twist out is GORGEOUS!!!!! Truthfully, you didn't even need to untwist. You could've left your hair in the twists and you'd look just as beautiful!
The algorithm is working overtime with this one! 🤩 I would have kept those gorgeous twists in for another two weeks at least! 🙌🏾 Beautiful work. Thank you. 🙏🏽
Hey Nicolelise! I am sooooooo glad that you did this video. It may seem like we don't need yet another twist out video, but apparently we DO because this is, hands-down, the BEST twist out that I have EVER SEEN. I rarely do twist outs on my hair because I never like the results, but I for sure will try your technique and see what I come out with. Fingers crossed that I get similar results. SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL!
This looks gorgeous. I guess for those who don’t have as much time and have to wash their hair every week. 8 flat twists will provide your quite similar results! That’s worked for me.
Girl. This is ABSOLUTELY Aaahhhhmazing! When I TELL you I have been watching this with my mouth wide open because…just wow! I LOVE this so, so much!! Thank you!! 🙌🏾😊🔥💕🔥
Absolutely GORGEOUS! In every stage it was beautiful. It looked good with the twists and when you took them out and even when you took them out a little bit more. So you have three hairstyles that you can rock!
This is my absolute favorite twistout tutorial. I had never thought of braiding the root of my twists until I watched your video. After trying this method, I've accomplished the very best twistout that I've ever experienced in my life. I wish I could post pics in the comment section. Thanks to you for your advice. I am finally starting to become more comfortable with doing my own natural hair!!
Hi! So glad I found your channel! I honestly had given up on twist-outs b/c I felt like I would never get enough definition. Thank you for the tip on braiding at the root and removing all excess product from your hands when moving to the next section. I would have never thought to do either. Thank you for this video! Super helpful!!
Hello Dear, here watching and supporting my fellow content creators, thanks for posting this content, here to encourage you to keep going, keep pushing forward, thumbs up and blessing to you
I was doing twist outs before Covid. Jumped into wigs and quick weaves and haven’t shown my beautiful natural hair since b/c I’ve become lazy. Every single day, all day someone complimented my twist-outs.
Thank you so much the combo of the braiding, twisting and using that anti-Jackie,’s gel and the moose. I did not really learn to do till now I’m gonna try this out sister God bless you.🎉
Genius !!! Wish i thought of this when i did my failed twist outs in the past 😂 thanks sooo much for this video its so helpful! You look beautiful sis ! ❤
Thank you for this combo with two strand twist, I had been into aunt Jackie for my wash and gos, and then I discovered the roux and loved it too, but my two strand twist never came out good for me, until I saw you use the two together and I'm in love and my twist outs are ❤🔥, so thank you bunches.
This video was right on time. Tried a wash and go that ended in disaster, lol! Re-washed and incorporated your tip of braiding 2x technique. Haven't taken out yet, but will see. 🤞🏽
I love your hair, it's gorgeous!! I use to do mines similar to your method. I've been natural since 2011. But since my texture has definitely changed I have to do more work lol. But thanks for sharing & stay 🙌 😊
Absolutely gorgeous!! 🤩 The braiding at the roots is a good tip. I have 4C hair and it’s literally where my hair begin to unravel first. So frustrating after hours of twisting my hair! I’ll use this on my next wash & twist day.
I have 4b tapered cut. It's the absolute worst when you do every technique right and it still comes out wrong. I suffer from dryness so I'm going to try this method next time
Thank you, Nicolelise 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 that was one of the best twistout, tutorials that I’ve seen in years. Yes, it was very detailed and looked very easy as you stated in your description box. I love how you explained why you do what you do so we don’t think to skip that part. What I thought was ingenious, and should’ve been a no-brainer to me, was to braid your hair at the root that makes so much sense. I always wondered why my twistouts didn’t come out the way I expected it to, thanks for that valuable yet simple tip🤩 I was so into it that I went and changed to watch it on my iPad instead of my phone so I could see it clearly😆. Next time I’m gonna watch it on my Mac computer.😁 From what I’ve understood with the Doux Mousse it’s suggested that we use the product by itself but I see that it doesn’t even matter it will not make your hair look bad if you do, you debunked that theory for me 😅. I kinda found it strange that It was suggested not to use another product, when I need a little bit more weight in my hair. I’m sooo glad I read the instructions in the description box, otherwise I would’ve skipped the part where you forgot to mention in your video that you used “Kinky Curly Knot Today Leave In Conditioner” whew 😅 Do you twist your hair in different levels like bottom first middle and then top(stacked) ‘cause that’s how it looked very structured 🤔does it matter. I’m going to subscribe to you now girl😉💞💗🩵
Your hair is lovely! 😍😍 I took some really great tips from this video - so helpful especially starting with a braid at the roots THEN a twist. Brilliant! Thank you for sharing sis.
I've been natural since 2018, I have watched tons of videos on youtube and most of the styles did not come out so well. I'm going to give it a try this weekend, and I'm going to let you know how it goes.
This is so pretty! I agree pinappling throws it off I love my hair loose and having bed head big and fluffy. I’ve been doing braid outs but with this technique I will try twist outs!
I learned a couple of tips. But I must add that there are so many differences in hair. For example, my hair is thin, dense, with high porosity and mixed textures. So I need heavier products to keep moisture in. So it’s very important to know your strands.
Be-au-ti-ful! I have to master taking time and twisting the same size in the back of my hair. I try to save time & finish & it costs. Definitely will use the tip of alternating the direction of the twists throughout my head. Your hair looks so full & shinny with a nice curl. Thank you for sharing.
I like your video. I regularly wear two strand twists. It’s hard for my mental and muscle memory to start with the 3 strand braid then 2 strand twist. Lol I will just braid the entire braid and then realize, oh two strand! 😅
Gel can be found here. All other products can be found here as well!

What do you mean by pineapple it out when you take a shower?
Like flip your head over and tie a scarf around it so all your curls are on the top of your head. Then put a bonnet on!
Please where can I get your product in Uk? Liverpool to be precise
It would of been nice if you had shown how you did the back to fill in the parts.
What’s the name of the product that you’re using so I can go on Amazon and purchase the same items? Thank you.
The problem with twist outs is once I twist my hair. That's the style I'm wearing. Ain't going to be no "out."😅
😂😂
At all !
Yes!😂😂😂
AHAHA
I leave my twist in for about 3 weeks and untwist it for a week or more before I do it all over again.
Just a tip, to eliminate puffy roots without braiding the roots. Twist the hair without moving down until you feel the hair is taut, almost like it's going to twist on itself. This is so helpful ima try this tonight!
I can’t braid, that’s my problem. I can only twist 😅
So helpful! My roots are chronically puffy when I attempt this style. Thanks for this tip!
😂😂😂
I’ve been natural since 2015 and I had completely given up on twist outs until I came across this video and tried your method (perm rods and all!) and it came out amazing! 🤩It lasted a full week and it was still so soft!! I’m floored!!!! Thank you for your tutorial sis!!
Woohoo so glad you had a successful style!
Why perm rods? She didn’t use a rods. What did you achieve with the rods?
Thank you
How do you keep your twists perfect without flattening it when you go to bed?
@@LightBeingsBE: she uses perm rods at 5:45 in the video and explains why…
i am 5 twists in and my patience has worn thin but thank you because these 5 twists are the best i’ve ever done😭😭😭
Wet with water (in the winter time), tons of products, arms tired, hours and hours later...
Just to do it all again a week or two from now.
Nope.
Now that you know what you’re capable of, you have to decide if you’re worth the time & effort. I’m rooting for you! 💁🏾♀️🙏🏾❤️
@@twitterblackdoveYou don't have to do it again don't be pessimistic 💀
I actually laughed out loud😭 this is so real😂
I'm dead 💀 totally weak. I can see me feeling this way😂
Your twist out is GORGEOUS!!!!! Truthfully, you didn't even need to untwist. You could've left your hair in the twists and you'd look just as beautiful!
I agree. I liked it even more without the extra separating. Beautiful results. How long did it last?
Your hair is sooooooo healthy!
Most helpful twist out video I’ve ever seen. Your hair is gorgeous.
Yay glad it helped! 😊& thank you!
Hands down! 💕🙌🙏
I agree ❤
Yep
The algorithm is working overtime with this one! 🤩 I would have kept those gorgeous twists in for another two weeks at least! 🙌🏾 Beautiful work. Thank you. 🙏🏽

The twists alone are beautiful , I’m definitely trying this method
This looks gorgeous. I guess for those who don’t have as much time and have to wash their hair every week. 8 flat twists will provide your quite similar results! That’s worked for me.
Do you use the same products? 8-12 twists would work wonders for me.
This gave me hope , thanks girl lol I jus cut my locs and have no clue how to do my natural hair anymore ugh Jesus take the wheel
Girl you ate & left no crumbs!! Love it
Thank you so much.

I haven't been wearing my hair ether since Covid, other than mini twists. Since I've been lazy, I have turned it into a hair growth journey :)
@@faithwilliams7978How are mini twists lazy? Don’t they take a lot of time to do?
