Thanks to Mike Harvey and the folks at Cimarron Firearms for keeping part of our Western heritage alive. Great firearms! I personally have a Cimarron Lightning in .38, and a brace of Allen Firearms from 1985.
I have that Winchester model 61 pump .22. Got it from my father, who bought it and another .22 handgun from a man in Alaska in 1960, for $20. I love the gun for it's simplicity and accuracy. I taught my two kids to shoot with it when they were 8 and 9, and after a half hour, they were crack shots. Each could repeatedly hit a 3" x 3" bouncing target at 30 yards.
I have an open top a Richards and Mason and a type II Richards. I love them two are in 44 Colt and the open top in in 45LC. My dad hunted with a 30-40 Krag carbine.
Just got my first cimarron arms model P. It is 4.75", has the charcoal blue finish. Haven't fired it yet, but, will be soon. The fit and finish is great and balances lkke a colt. First revolver I have owned that has great timing on the cylinder lock up. One revolver I would live to see from cimarron arms ,is a reproduction of the H&R 999 Sportsman.
I have an 1874 Pedersoli Sharps in 45-70 that comes from Cimarron Firearms, would like to know more about this rifle such as what model it is and anything else I can find out about it any help I can get would be greatly appreciated by me ?
My cimmaron is supposed to click four times like a real colt my dads pistellaro does but mine is the holy smoker from 3:10 to Yuma and it doesn’t . Do you guys fix this or is it just my model.
Exactly, they CLAIM they are traditional, but then make arbitrary changes that ruin the traditional action. I am looking to Pietta, because Uberti has dropped the ball big time.
Hello! For the most part, yes our firearms are manufactured in Italy. However, we have had certain models of our 1878 Coach Gun manufactured in China. We have worked with Pakistan in the past as well. We do offer an Italian manufactured 78 Coach Gun too! Thanks!!
I'd give $1500 for a reproduction DA Thunderer in a .44 or .45 Colt chambering that is durable and reliable. Heck...I'd tool up for .41 Colt for one of these chambered thusly to add to my stable of 5 Cimarrons that are part of my modest collection.
I have always found it very strange that people "dress up" like they live in the 1870's or something when they handle and talk about rifles and handguns from that era. Why do people do this?
I’m one of those old farts when I was a kid in Wyoming I had my dad gave me eight 3040 Craig for a long time I couldn’t hear anything I finally realize the rear site was soldered to the boat so every time the boat was returned the rear site was in a different place anyway just some history on for 3040 Craig
I know Cimarron imports Pietta also and they seem better. Uberti is making guns w/ retractible firing pins and just 3 weak clicks. I WANT to invest in a traditional single action, but these Italian reproductions cannot be trusted
I hear ya i was looking on buds and they have the cimarron mp415 model P 45 colt 7.5" i called and asked if these were pietta or uberti imports the guy had no idea i guess i should have asked him to look on the underside of the barrel he did say the firing pin is fixed so i believe there piettas.

Love to see Uberti or someone like that making a top-break Webley & Scott.....that would be awesome......
Keep up the good work sir
Absolutely remarkable, you guys are awesome! I just purchased the 1851 Colt Navy conversion "man with No Name" (in .38)!
Hi thanks for part 3

Fantastic series, Mike! Thanks for being there for us historical gun lovers!
I love Cimmaron. Best authentic colt reproduction I’ve ever seen!!!
Cimarron - ya'll have some really beautiful and nice firing products.

I would LOVE to be able to buy a new Krag rifle!
2019 still waiting
WHAT A GREAT 3 PARTER.VERY INFORMATIVE.I LOVE MY UBERTI 31/2" S.A. "MARSHALL".
I own quite a few replica single action revolvers. The highest quality among them all are Cimarrons.
My cimmaron is supposed to click four times like a real colt my dads pistellaro does but mine is the holy smoker from 3:10 to Yuma and it doesn’t . Do you guys fix this or is it just my model.

Don't hold your breath...warranty sucks.
Are Cimarron firearms STILL made in Italy? I've read commentaries that the coach guns are made in China.

It's perfect gan!
Would love to own a 30-41 Krag carbine
So when are we getting double action colts?
I dont think they ever will sadly
That's my "want", too. Make a good Thunderer DA that works and is reliable, and I'll give $1200-$1400 for one.
Make a Krag jorgensen in 30-30!
As soon as you make the S&W Americans I will take two :-)
Stephanie Torres... cimarron is one drink the South America...
Stephanie, do you have them on order yet? Because Uberti is making them now!
haven’t seen a 44 American yet.

Best guns on the market

Because it's fun!!!
