The reason Nagant didn't die from the explosion is because the explosion quirk was taken, so it means someone had it/used it and therefore probably couldn't kill users are much stronger than the average person.
Thats crazy to think about. I'd be fuckin pissed. Especially if I was alive with that quirk during Season 2. Imagine knowing your power is to create one explosion at the cost of your own body, then seeing some UA kid creating explosions bigger than anything you could produce out of his palms with no backlash. I'd crash out.
@@Nekotaku_TV Nah it was confirmed she was moved into the hospital and not died in the Dark Hero arc when they discussed the retirement of background Hero's and were afraid he wasn't a Hero after all but just a Human
Agreed Wells. Episodes like this remind me of why I love this series. I like how Horikoshi structures “the power of friendship” around genuine cooperation. It’s a big theme that nobody can live this life alone and re-contextualizing a popular shonen trope through the lens of actual support works really well. Hero society partly fell because of All Might and Deku’s toxic idea of heroism being about self-destructive self-sacrifice. But the new generation is about how we all can be heroes in our own way. Like Hatsume said, inventing support items with her support course classmates is her way of being a hero. It’s why the Culture Festival worked well for me because it was about putting on a concert to save a little girl’s traumatized heart. Deku saved Eri physically, but she still wasn’t saved emotionally. That’s why Jiro originally wanted to do music and later became a hero: she wanted to save people’s hearts. This series is truly about heroism in all the various ways that we can be heroes. It’s why I’m okay with the series being more about sentiment than action at times.
Really like what you said here, and while I overall I agree with your statement, I want to note that without All Might's heroic tendencies, visions, and ideals none of this cast of characters would exist; AFO would control everything and everyone. He was canonically killing any potentially dangerous heroes (hence why most of the later OFA holders didn't have any crazy quirks, so goodbye any of the other top 10 we saw). All Might being the only one capable of dealing with AFO alone, gave Japan a chance to grow and develop so that those who live in his image, and chase his ideals can carry the burden of All Might's absence. The show emphasizes where All Might's version of society was necessary, and where it needed to progress to. All Might was responsible for way too much, but that's where the new generation of heroes come in, and as a collective, rather than anyone individually, they surpass All Might.
@@mattwalsh9919 Yeah the conversation with Stain after the woman All Might saved during Kamino cleaned the graffiti off the All Might statue showcased what you’re talking about. All Might’s era of peace had unforeseen consequences, but it did light the fires that the new generation are taking into the future. It’s a passing of the torch.
@@Oakland510 Yeah Sukuna is an electric antagonist. I would also say JJK is also massively helped by the cool factor of Gojo. He’s such a water cooler character that you immediately get invested in the story through him.

Hatsume's a better match for deku than Uraraka
I love Hatsume but we are not gonna ignore the speech that Uraraka gave at the end of Season 6 for Deku. She is his ride or die.
Better than Relegated to GIGA Clover

😂😂😂
Ep 2 s1 was the story of how deku became the world greatest hero now s7 the story of how the classes became best heroes ffs dumb ass show
