    They should not tell the women at 15:45 to move back but tell them to stop selling and clean that place first before selling anything to the public.. It would look safe, clean and welcoming to attract more sales and showing common respect and courtesy for their buyers..

    The Gambia police are not being taken seriously due to their own failures. Are there any littering laws in the Gambia?

    Are people ever going to learn about keeping the environment clean and stop selling items from the ground. Unhealthy practices are everywhere and affect the wellbeing of everyone. Surely they must know that its not hygienic and dirt and dust will cover everything in a very short time.

    • @dashaunbrown1534

      But if Europeans were doing this practice, you would be saying that's the way to do things, Africans have all become a nation of followers and feel so inferior to whites

    Have people no respect for their community, rubbish thrown everywhere. The clear the roads team make it worse throwing rubbish in to piles ….. when are the government going to clean the roads? To be honest as someone from outside the country it looks a total mess . I have Gambian friends who tell me there are no waste bins in the streets .

    • @elizabethsonko3714
      @elizabethsonko3714 8 месяцев назад

      The only thing in the streets is rubbish and filth.Its everywhere and not small amounts. Tourists are surprised when they come and many won't be returning.

    • @Diallo51
      @Diallo51 8 месяцев назад

      Yes. No Waste Bins, no Waste collections, only dust and poor people and policiers that insult people.

    As much as we appreciate the work of the task force clearing the road for environmental safety, one thing I just Can't seem to understand is why the focus on too much on clearing out people off the roads or strreet corridors and little or no effort is spent in emphasizing on cleaning up all the filts and the littering on the ground, streets and market places? is it because is easier to cleared out people than to clean up filts and waste or is it something else in between? One minute we watching and saying oh they doing a good job clearing the roads but then you look around how disorganized the environment looks with waste and rubbish all over the place and you start questioning yourself if this whole operation is actually defeating its purpose for not including a mandatory cleaning up exercise in the community. This should be utmost importance and a priority for environmental health and safety as far as development and change of attitude is concerned in our well-being..

    • @Diallo51
      @Diallo51 8 месяцев назад

      Because they are filmed, and they act like actors

    • @facethetruth8190

      @@Diallo51 It seems very strange and somehow questionable..The clearing of people seems very theatrical and full of drama but to take time to clean those filthy areas would definitely demonstrate an act of care for the environment and a health concern for the cleanliness of our communities..

    BAI MUSTAPHA's RUclips channel is very interesting, because they are a group of youth's trying their best to clean up Gambia. They don't have any sponsors,or any assistance from the government.They just feel to give their time for free,just to help make this a cleaner, better environment for everyone.

      How can you have the road clearance team also serve as the enforcement team.
      A unit/office under the purview of the MHS or the IGP should have staff assigned ND empowered to enforce the law. Gambians re hard headed and will continue to violate the laws.
