What i love about season 6 so far is that they gave the characters time to reflect on their past decisions, their consequences and how far they've come as a person since season 1. We never really had enough time to see the characters look back on their growth. There are a lot of callbacks to previous seasons, parallels and mentions of past events like Becca doing the tech for Eligius (6x01).
Your questions and speculations are all reasonable, though I have no comment as to their accuracy. Overall in these early season six episodes, just enjoy exploring a whole new world. It takes a few episodes to find out what season six is all about, but overall I (and most other reactors I've seen) enjoy this season as a whole as much as any other season of The 100.
I remember watching this episode and literally everyone chose to attack each other but Clarke only wanted to attack herself. Then it hit me like yes I don’t like everything she does but does any teenager do everything perfect? So I was like dang she’s her own biggest judge
I truly loathe Abby at this point. She knows she's the reason Octavia is broken. She watched Octavia slowly die in the bunker, and is now watching her truly self destruct and has the gall to further demonize her. She let a child bear the weight of the world on her shoulders with no support, no where to run, no where to hide, while she herself hid behind drugs and Kane. She is truly the most heartless person around. Another brilliantly acted scene by Marie (Octavia).
Blaming abbey is a weak move lol. Abbey didn’t burn the farm, or March people into a massacre(no mattter what, it would have been a massacre, with the weapons they had). O made her own path. She agreed and is the one who shot the people who wouldn’t eat, and she is the one who had many options out of a fight, but killed her own people and planet. Abbey is def to blame, but O is the one who did it all and enforced it, plus more. I can’t stand the people who let O slide, but think abbey is awful, just because of her saying something, Octavia was already thinking lmao. I agree with the cannibalism, they woulda died. But everything after, if on her, and her only. I love O too, more than abbey. But don’t let her slide on her decisions
Also blaming a woman who was forced into taking pills, after being forced to be manipulated by Becca?? And being forced by all the prisoners? What do you expect her to do. Abbey didn’t have choices. O did, and she acted like a dictator. That’s just facts. Abbey woulda never been addicted if it wasn’t for the pill that took her mind. She did it for raven. O did everything for herself and ego
@@AvEnGeD7X238 I'm not letting Octavia slide, but she is treated FAR differently than any other character who has made decisions like she has. And Abby absolutely needs to bear a significant chunk of the blame. Abby owns so much responsibility for the bunker but doesn't own any of it. At Abby's advice Octavia sacrificed her sanity so everyone else could keep theirs. If you pay attention you see that Octavia never gives up that it was Abby who told her what needed to be done to save the human race in the bunker. Octavia bore the guilt of 1200 people so they didn't have to. But she didn't deserve to bear it alone and with out any support. Abby was a POS. Abby turned to drugs because her guilt at what she did to Octavia was eating her alive - she even admits to Clarke 'It was me...it was all me'. Abby was the adult and the doctor....of course Octavia was going to listen to her. I never said Abby burnt the farm. Octavia did that and I completely understand why she did it. Also It was only a massacre because of Kane and Clarke. Indra and Dioyza both acknowledged Octavia's army would win the war.
@@AvEnGeD7X238 She wasn't forced into taking pills. By the end of the 6 years, she wasn't taking the pills because of Becca....she was taking them to dull her guilt over what she did to Octavia. As she's detoxing she confesses her guilt to Clarke. Also, Octavia wasn't a dictator at first. She tried to let people handle their own shit, until Skycru proved people needed a heavy hand to keep them in line. She was a dictator out of necessity and it worked. She is the only reason the people in the bunker survived. If you think she sacrificed her heart, mind and soul in the bunker for herself, then you really don't understand her. She sacrificed EVERYTHING so her people could survive and eventually live again. Someone who does things for themselves and their own ego gets enjoyment out of other people's sufferings - someone like Queen Nia. Octavia is the complete opposite of Nia and genuinely loved and cared about her people. She gave all of herself to them and they took it and left her with nothing.
Octavia, when Lacey is saying "she's miserable" is in her own way trying to deal with the trauma of all this history, and "can't imagine how she can live with what she's done, what she's become, and what she's lost." It's been a while since I watched this series, so I can't honestly remember, but I do like the idea that the plants are protecting themselves. I mean, if you think about it, animals feed on plants and other animals. Plants don't generally feed on other plants, at least not living ones. Without developing locomotion, how would plants protect themselves from the herbivores? By turning the animals against each other. It has an interesting concept to it. Lacey: "Bible Garb?" Steve: "Yeah, like they just came off the Ark" Me: "No, Clarke's people came from 'The Ark' Oh! You mean ''Noah's Ark'' from which the name of the station was presumably derived" It is very fun to theorize, and some of your ideas are things that never occurred to me when I watched this show as it aired. TBH the nightblood idea slipped by me when they said "red blood"

This is one of my favorite episodes of season 6 Season 6 is my favorite season. But do yourself a favor and stop watching the show when you finish season 6. Or just watch season 7 till episode 2 and then stop. The rest will just ruin the entire show.
