- The stage of FATBOYSLIM in ARCADIA from 22:00 to 23:30 on Friday, June 28, 2024. A DJ booth in the shape of a dragonfly appeared from this year. I could see the appearance and expression of the DJ well by the transparent screen and the head moving left and right. The laser and fire show were also cool!
So cool, using lasers to simulate the wings is a master stroke. The moving head and all the projections on the body and head - also really brings the DJ that much closer to the crowd, Arcadia team did it again!
The spider until last year was also cool, but the new dragonfly was also a new good. And I see the DJ booth very often. I want to experience it again!

I think the new Arcadia is a massive improvement, especially when it comes to sound. The sound was great, no matter where I stood, even from outside the speaker circle, as they had outwards facing arrays. Whereas in previous years, if you couldn't get in the circle, it sounded painful.
We were getting a lot of 'something' sprayed on us every time the fire went off... 😂
Thank you for your comment! I didn't know it was time to activate the very precious dragonfly Dj booth! But I had to go there right away because I had my own show that night. When I was watching under the flames, something like rain came down. Maybe it's fuel. The sound was certainly good, and it was a very easy-to-see dragonfly.
@@YUKINKOAKIRA I think a lot of people left because they didn’t know. The app listed the ceremony, but it was such a small section on the timeline, that it was difficult to see. Even if you did see it on the lineup, you had to connect the dots.
Glastonbury often doesn't notice because there are many stages. It's a waste. I would be happy if there was a community where I could know such information in real time.

I love Glastonbury and i love Arcadia. But this set from Fatboy Slim has barely changed since i first heard it in 2013 at Bestival. I've seen and heard versions of it everywhere since then. I feel like That's poor form for fans and festival goers alike. At least make an effort on the worlds biggest stages.
