OMG people, chemistry is real. Throwing a bunch of random chemicals in a bowl is a great way to get chemical burns and wreck the Ph of your hair, never mind try to control the actual color that your hair turns out.
Attitudes like hers annoy me. The whole, “I’m not a hair professional“, “I don’t care what happens to my hair“ and “yeah, whatever“ is just ridiculous.
"What are you trying to cook here your head no bake it"😂😂😂😂😂😂😂. You have definitely done it again Hair Budda. Thank you for the entertainment. It always makes my Monday less gloomy
I used to lighten my hair with 40 volumes and 12.11 hair dye because I was afraid of bleach. Now I find out that bleaching my hair with blonde me and 20 volume gives me 5 levels of lift and less damaging. Please do not be afraid of that powder. Just be careful of the volume of the developer.
Blonde me didn't lift my hair enough 30 vol I usually use Jerome Russell born blonde in one session lifts my hair enough been using it since I was a teenager I tried blonde me because I heard people saying how good it was I think the ola Plex stuff they put in it waters the bleach down too much making it more 20 volume I would not mind my hair is a mid level brown with 50 percent grey and it was orange
And of course she doesn't show the back! She took fine sections on top and some of the front side, but man I KNOW the rest was an absolute patchy mess and she was NOT gonna show it lol. 😂
Ugh. Whyyyyyy?!?!? For the price she paid for that big bag of baking soda (about $20) she could've bought actual little packet of bleach and a bottle of developer. 40 vol?! Any lift she will get is from that, not the baking soda🤦
I was just thinking that. What's the deal with not using an actual hair bleach, rather than a raising agent/mild abrasive that is absolutely not for bloody well lifting hair.
Wow when sh commented that it worked so good my reaction was exactly the same as Hair Buddha's!!😂 When I saw his reaction I laughed because we felt the same way about her comment!!😂🤣😂
Just when you think there are no more weird combinations of chemicals that people will try to bleach/dye/lighten their hair with😂I love your videos. Xxx
Don't lie. You do care about your hair. It's your hair! Besides if you didn't care you wouldn't be going through with coloring and the regrowth. You should always care about yourself.
💜🤗 When I was young, My lightheaded (we were all either blonde, or strawberry) friends and I would put a SMALL amount of peroxide in our conditioner (rinse out) during the summer, to keep the green chlorine ting out of our hair. It worked really well, except for the one time my friend put alot of peroxide AND lemon juice in her LEAVE IN conditioner - Her VERY odd colored blonde hair looked like a brillo pad! Needless to say, she never did that again, lol
Funny story: when I was a teenager, I would use peroxide, baking soda, and shampoo to bleach my hair. It made it feel like straw and by high school I had to chop it all off. Now I stuck to 20 vol and bleach powder
HB, your reaction was absolutely priceless when she said she’s leaving it on for a couple of hours.. i rewound it 3-4 times coz you had me in stitches 😂😂 everybody needs HB in our lives ❤️❤️
Baking soda is just as if not more damaging to your hair than bleach could ever be. I don't understand the baking soda trend. I tried it to remove semi-permanent color before. Not only did it not work, my hair felt HORRID afterward.
When Hair Buddha is trying to think of something orange while sporting his lovely orange beard and tache 😂 . Edited to add: watched until the results and her roots are a perfect match to HB’s facial hair!
I watch way too much RUclips. Of ALL the things I watch, your videos are my hands down favorites! I smile, just seeing the expression on your face when I see a new upload. Thank you for such fun in my life! ❤❤❤
I accidentally got splashed with peroxide solution as a kid. The bit that got in my hair bleached it almost immediately, an orange-yellow color. It weakened the hair too. Some 😊fell out with brushing. I stay far away from that stuff.
I appreciate my hair way too much for this type of treatment. I’m always gentle with my hair. I stopped covering my natural gray and I always have gotten compliments on my hair. It’s just as thick and shiny now as when I was in my 20’s. Go to a professional! Save up money if you have to or at least find a home hairdresser that knows what to do and how to do it. Don’t take your hair for granted!!!!
Right! I used to dye my hair in my teens and twenties and never got compliments on it. Now in my 40's with long, natural brown with lots of grey streaks, I get compliments on it most times I go out and people even think I'm younger than I am.
I've never been one to try covering my grey. But now that I have enough of it, I've been experimenting with direct dyes... and I love it so much! And no damage at all!
Man. I remember when I mixed 30 volume developer, baking soda and period together trying to remove the color from my hair. I then proceeded to put a bag over my head. The amount of fire I was feeling inside that bag was next level but I thought, oh maybe it's really working. All while starting to feel really concerned. Left it on my head for over 20 min then realized that I had messed up. Touched my hair and it just melted off. I panicked and ran to wash it out. It was all falling out into my hands. I was DEVASTATED. IT ALL ENDED WITH ME BEING COMPLETELY BALD 🤣 Lesson learned
😂😂😂I bleached my hair in 1991 with straight liquid Peroxide. Nothing else. Just poured the bottle over my head and rubbed it in. Washed it out, was left with honey gold hair. Not orange, not yellow, not broken. I grew it out thou lol😂
She's not using enough 40 vol to do much. I don't know if the liquid peroxide will lift, but seems like it's 75 % baking soda and I don't think that'll do much.
I have to say, this is probably the first video I ever seen when someone leaves any kind of bleach on for HOURS and it DOESN'T make all the hair melt off, so that's a thing. o_O (I still wouldn't do that, her hair must be very strong!)
I heard an opinion that bleach basically stops working when it dries- that's why all that shipping bags around. Her mix looked pretty dry from the beginning so maybe it was what saved her
He’s so right about not caring until your hair falls out. I never thought I’d care that much about my hair until I got alopecia as a side effect of medication. I was in tears when I realised my hair was falling out. I can’t imagine how upset I’d be if my hair was falling out because I fried it with a home bleach job 🙈
Please, care about your hair. I have very thin hair and I have three friends with alopecia. Two of them wear wigs. Having a good head of hair is a blessing.
Yes, I usually have a decent amount of fine hair, but I got lupus a few years ago. Have been in a flare for two months and the amount of hair loss is unsettling to say the least. I may be breaking out my wigs soon; haven't needed them in about three years.
Hi Hair Buddha..if anyone asked us all to stop watching you and your video's...we would say. no no no no no no no no no no no no!!!! We love you Hair Buddha!!!!❤❤❤
I hope you had a relaxing cup after that. ☕️ Your reaction at the developer number was enough. I don't think those products are meant to stay on hair for three and a half hours. I think the end result was okay. What color did that turn after getting dyed is my question.
It was quite funny the way she was trying to do it quietly. It didn't come across as to avoid disturbing someone but more as to avoid someone finding out what she was up to...... Again.... 😂😂
I always roll my eyes when people say stuff like "it's just hair, it grows back" so it doesn't matter. Yes hair continues to grow (unless the scalp damage is bad enough) but hair grows slowly. It can take half a decade or more to get back from a bad cut or damage. For most people that matters a lot.
When I was 14 my mother said no to me dying my hair I was determined to get my way and my brother told me all I needed was peroxide so I got a few big bottles and found out not only did it dry out my dark brown hair but it turned it yellow which made me look pale and sick.😅 My mother went and got brown hair dye later that day and fixed my mistake
I wonder if they used the baking soda for costly reasons...Because it wasn't the baking soda that lightened her hair, it was the 40vol. She could have gotten the same result using just 40vol.
German Subtitle Please
Finally (finally!), someone that takes reasonable sections - only to then apply a witch’s brew of garbage. 😭
Well she sure looks like a witch lol
We either have the right products and the wrong technique or wrong products and the right technique. We can never win 😂
I just don’t understand how people will mess around with chemicals and formulas so carelessly.
"Oh, you think it worked well!?" Your expression was priceless.
🙈
The shade of it all 😂😂
The way he stated this and his face expression had me crackling 😂😂
Enough baking soda for her hair, to scrub the tub, do loads of laundry, and deodorize the fridge 😂
and make biscuits!
not just for her...for the ENTIRE Country.
I have a bag that big in my garage. I mix it with powdered sugar to kill fire ant mounds without pesticide.
That girl was quite cocky about that horrible bleach job!😂😂😂
OMG people, chemistry is real. Throwing a bunch of random chemicals in a bowl is a great way to get chemical burns and wreck the Ph of your hair, never mind try to control the actual color that your hair turns out.
I think I led a more sheltered hair colouring life than I thought! Madness 😮😂
My thoughts exactly during this trainwreck. How can people be so cavalier?
Your face when she shows the 40 Volume developer - priceless 🤣😂
At least I know my troubles will fade away for the next 11 minutes and 25 seconds. Have a great day, Hair Buddha and friends. 🌞❤🌈
Absolutely 💯
I hope your troubles will fade away for ever girl ❤
@OlmKya , Aww, you're too sweet. Thank you for your kind words. Sending you blessings back. 💜🌈
I feel the same way when I see his vids! ❤

Attitudes like hers annoy me. The whole, “I’m not a hair professional“, “I don’t care what happens to my hair“ and “yeah, whatever“ is just ridiculous.
She was a bit insufferable to watch, I feel like she was putting on a show for views
The constant snapping of the lips and head bobbing back and forth. What was that?
@@TracyD2Look I don’t agree with her hair bleaching methods but now you just sound like an elder
She's not like other girls 🤪

I did many awful things with my hair when I was a teenager, but baking soda with 40 vol? Hell no.
Exactly, It's 30 and 40 vol developer that will eat hair, when bleaching I always stuck mostly to 10 vol and sometimes 20 nothing above that
SAME
What is the purpose of the powder?
It was painful how dry that mixture was
Blonde me didn't lift my hair enough 30 vol I usually use Jerome Russell born blonde in one session lifts my hair enough been using it since I was a teenager I tried blonde me because I heard people saying how good it was I think the ola Plex stuff they put in it waters the bleach down too much making it more 20 volume I would not mind my hair is a mid level brown with 50 percent grey and it was orange

As always, you are pure joy, sir! The faces you make are epic! Thanks.
What on earth? She's just pouring peroxide in with 40 volume and baking soda. Its like a random chemistry experiment on her hair?
That's dangerous if you don't know what you're making too. And I highly doubt this girl is a chemist.
Next time she makes a tutorial about how to bleach hair with mustard gas.
Ugh. Whyyyyyy?!?!? For the price she paid for that big bag of baking soda (about $20) she could've bought actual little packet of bleach and a bottle of developer.
40 vol?! Any lift she will get is from that, not the baking soda🤦

A bucket of bleach powder costs about the same as the bag of baking soda.
She is so very proud of that orange stripe!
Having no baking soda at all is more than enough for bleaching her hair.
“Oh you think it worked well “ 🤣🤣🤣
The expression on your face is priceless! 😅 I can see this pains you. Poor Buddha.

It is kind of apple juice colour!
I'm worried that he might be losing braincells after watching all these morons wreck their hair. Poor HB, I hope he takes care of himself.
"Orange as a baby chicken". Priceless! Thanks for the laugh. Always fun to watch Hair Buddha.

Who told her to use baking soda??? Not on the hair!!!! Wash Combs and brushes every time you shampoo hair.
The ones who say they don't care about what happens to their hair, are usually the ones who cry the most when it comes out damaged .

I bleached some hair with baking soda and peroxide. It worked but the hair was crunchy afterward. I only used the houses hold peroxide.
