Pantheon can legit go in any role and scales like a monster. It's really funny because most people still think he falls off but the champ will one-shot you in a millisecond with 3 items.
I think it's because of how he's an Assassin/Duelist most of the time to most people but once you build more stuff off the usual builds you realize how much choices he has

I think the source of toxicity is expectations. Expecting your teammates to do x, expecting your lane to go X way. So when X does not happen - we either get surprised or annoyed as we are confused. Expecting nothing from your team is always the best way to play

Pantheon Senna is an insane bot duo because of Pantheon's ability to protect Senna from almost anything by killing them. He gets all the benefits listed in this video, while his team still gets an ADC. Senna provides sustain and poke in the lane and a global ultimate to support Pantheon's roams and can do work with the farm he leaves behind in the meantime. Pantheon makes it nearly impossible to punish Senna in lane via engages.
I actually played this combo with my duo yesterday and everything you listed works perfectly. Insane map pressure with a global and semi global, insane roaming power, really hard to gank with senna w+e and pantheon e and could even turn ganks with senna heal+q execute. You basically get 2 carries and 2 supports in bot lane that can cover each other weaknesses and can peel when the other person wants to do something. Pantheon dives? Senna can q pantheon hitting both the enemy and patheon. Pantheon cant push tower. Senna can hit tower while pantheon sits on senna and lets them work. Pantheon also almost always buys black cleaver anyway so that provides armor shred for senna as well. I think this pick can be improved further as we learn our duo.
This video really inspired me as I've recently been playing Panth more and more as supp and Panth jg on Wild Rift. The thing about Panth supp is that he's really powerful but it's hard to carry when you're giving everything to your adc/team (+ the less gold income that you have as a supp) but, due to match ups, I never really wanted to play him Top and Mid in the recent seasons. I'll defo try this pick in a draft or smth and hopefully not int my teammates haha ^^' Thx for the great vid, Chime!
As much as I appreciate the damage mitigation on Pantheon's E, I do miss his old E that was basically a paper shredder with its ludicrously high AD scaling
May I offer my all time favorite support combo with Panth ADC?? BRAUMTHEON! The shield brothers! Braum Q + Panth empowered W is a stun + 3 autos, which then stuns at the end from braum passive! Panth jumps on enemies, Braum jump onto Panth. They both have shield walls. But best of all… they both have Dragon Slayer skins. Gold Chroma for extra style points 👌

When i first started taking getting better at LoL seriously (still not that good, but whatever) the friend who convinced me to one trick a champ said to pick Pantheon because you can play it in any role and just learn the game. It was true pre rework, and is still true now like 6 or 7 seasons later

I have been playing an on hit Pantheon mid for like 2 years now. thats a PTA Eclipse BORK build, and for the other items most commonly i go essence reaver, lord dominiks and infinity edge, and it M E L T S people. I haven't tried it in high elo as i dont climb, but for low elo its amazing

I think that rushing BORK is actually the best. You play around your empowered W and you do 80% of a champs health with it. It's the biggest early powerspike pantheon gets, and I go that first every game I play him. It's disgusting really.
It's fine top but doesn't do much Vs ADCs since they don't buy much hp and thus eclipse does more damage. Could be ok Vs a tank supp but again eclipse has % DMG too so it's just a great option
@@HappyChimeNoises it's not about the health. Current health damage or max health damage, its not only for tanks. Sure it'll do more damage to tanks because they have more health. But relatively speaking, looking at health pools, it all does a % of someone's health. So you'll bring the adc to kill range AND a health stacker to kill range. Both remain with like 20-30% hp. And that's when your q does extra damage. Eclipse is pretty underwhelming. It doesn't even do that much. I go bork - stridebreaker - black cleaver. More utility, can't die, still one shooting. Only problem is playing around your passive w, which takes time to get used to. Thanks for commenting ^^

So weird thing about the range thing. It’s actually a little misleading. While yes, ADC attack range tends to be in the 550 range and Pantheon’s W has 600 range, attack range and ability range work completely differently. Attack range is edge to edge while ability range is center to center. If that was confusing, think of it like this. Every champion has a hurt box that is a circle. In order to basic attack another champion, then the distance between the edges of those circles needs to be within the range. But to use an ability, the distance between the centers needs to be within the range. So if both champions had radius 50, then you can use a 500 attack range at the same distance you can use a 600 ability range. Most champions have a radius bigger than 50, so Pantheon’s W actually doesn’t outrange any ADC’s.
I really wanna play and experiment with more melee bot lane picks. I've gotten really bored of marksmen for the most part since in low elo it always evolves into "which team has a better comp" most of the time it feels like.
tear really only feels good in adc role, because hes behind in levels. Otherwise it just seems like its too much of a power loss during some of your strongest moments in the early game
Guys, armor pen =/= armor reduction. Armor pen lowers the enemy armor for a percentage ONLY for the person with armor pen. Armor reduction lowers the targets' armor so EVERYONE on his team can deal more damage. Thats why black cleaver is important, and he said the build has no armor pen in context of buying flat armor pen as a stat (like LDR)
My friend and I climbed to diamond just going pantheon Leona bot. As the panth. I start pta with longsword. You just gotta survive the level 1 and in some cases level 2. But the burst and engage is so unfair to face it's almost sad. There is virtually nothing that counters us except heimerdinger and Ezreal. And we ban both. Rest of the game is just macro and micro. Abusing the lead and forcing it elsewhere with Leona roams or pantheon R roams.
I've seen Spear Shot run Sunderer over Eclipse a few times and it seemed really good when testing aswell. I assume our adc Panth runs Eclipse for the movespeed?
@@Jemme95 especially vs. tanks, Sunderer healing is way more than Eclipse lifesteal, while also being 1.5 seconds cd instead of Eclipse 8 seconds. The hp is about as much as the shield, while both give a (small) amount of % pen. As said: I can only see the MS benefit.
@@UncleRimo The % pen is probably the least important part of Eclipse for Pantheon since hsi ult naturally de-scales it. The shield, lethality, omnivamp, and movespeed are the major factors.
Look at zhonyas jarvan IV it’s a super fun build and I’d never heard of it till I played jarvan support for fun and found out it’s porofessors recommended build for the role
When ne me and my friend played solo q together, we legit just spammed Pantheon mid + Rell support, crazy lane earlygame with pantheon and good roams, and great teamfighting with Rell. He oneshots squishes and armor shreds tanks, and I can just stun everyone for like 4 seconds. I had 70% winrate on Rell and his Pantheon winrate was similar. I should tell him to try panth adc lol.
This is a great video but it reminds me of a video done by a smaller youtuber named identity crisis and i feel like he focuses much more in on the build, give it a look if you want some more off meta.
Hi, i'm a pantheon ADC main and let me say that these are not good runes for pantheon ADC ahahah. Go Press the Attack (empowered w activates It) and do not go boneplating in a ranged matchup for the love of God, Just go with the Red rune on the top right (Sorry do not Remember the name in english) and go with the ultimate hunter of you want to roam or with treasure hunter for faster item Spike. I tried pantheon with all the objects in the game and let me say that Eclipse and black cleaver Is Always the best, but the other objects he choose are not Always optimal. Anyway nothing to critic, Just pointing out my experience, big props to you for bringing my boy pantheon to masters 😄🥂
as of 249 days ago he hasn't played. His last game was a soloqueue game as Zac mid, which he won and did the most damage in by 10k! He has likely just moved on or made an alternate account. He was playing daily, and a lot per day until that last game. Any number of things could have happened, I'd bet he will return with a new season. We always do. I hope he is well and happy :)
I tried this with a friend, rolled over a MF and Lux easily, the mid and jg came very often but they just couldn't kill us lmao, still I wouldn't try this in rankeds, I imagine the constant dodges and trolling from other laners

if you play a more offensive support, like a hook support, or a pyke for example, going PTA into Kraken Slayer and BORK makes any botlaner melt

Hi, i'm a pantheon ADC main and let me say that these are not good runes for pantheon ADC ahahah. Go Press the Attack (empowered w activates It) and do not go boneplating in a ranged matchup for the love of God, Just go with the Red rune on the top right (Sorry do not Remember the name in english) and go with the ultimate hunter of you want to roam or with treasure hunter for faster item Spike. I tried pantheon with all the objects in the game and let me say that Eclipse and black cleaver Is Always the best, but the other objects he choose are not Always optimal. Anyway nothing to critic, Just pointing out my experience, big props to you for bringing my boy pantheon to masters 😄🥂

as of 249 days ago he hasn't played. His last game was a soloqueue game as Zac mid, which he won and did the most damage in by 10k! He has likely just moved on or made an alternate account. He was playing daily, and a lot per day until that last game.
Any number of things could have happened, I'd bet he will return with a new season. We always do. I hope he is well and happy :)

I tried this with a friend, rolled over a MF and Lux easily, the mid and jg came very often but they just couldn't kill us lmao, still I wouldn't try this in rankeds, I imagine the constant dodges and trolling from other laners
