For those saying it’s not a scrub… it is the first step in learning to scrub. Before you start to lean the bike you have to get the compression part down, which is this first step. Once you start compressing well, you then progress to tilting the bike with the compression which allows you to roll the wheels over the lip of the jump. But just tilting the bike without the compression wouldn’t work. You have to learn in steps. This is clearly a clip from a longer video, which I haven’t seen, but I am assuming the longer vid eventually progresses into a full scrub.
Technically what he is teaching in this video is called “soaping” rather than a scrub. Still keeps the rider lower, just a little different than a scrub.
I love jet biking biking is the best I’m actually going to biking today is Friday the best day of the week to go dirt biking and it’s gonna be a lot of fun 🤭
@@johncoops6897 this is an introduction to scrubbing or what most will now call a bubba scrub, the functional aspect of whipping besdies the show of it. What he does is a technique that used to be referred to as soaking. Gary Semics used to teach this along with many others. You need to learn how the bikes acts taking off a jump bother loading and soaking the suspension before going for full on scrubs.
@@jonmarshall272- that's l like saying you lost your virginity when you opening a Sports Illustrated magazine. It's not difficult to be honest when writing video titles. You know, by not lying.
@@johncoops6897 by definition he is scrubbing. His body position and technique reduced air time, hence scrubbing. Its just not as stylish as you wanted.
Thats not a scrub at all thats just learning how to jump. And if everyone says this Is the first steps of learning a scrub then why doesn't he show himself actually doing first and then say that this is the first steps on learning how to scrub. There's no scrub shown in this video whatsoever.
you don't need anything fancy you can do this over a 2 foot jump or drive way you will notice at a constant apoach speed when you execute right you will have less hight in your jump and get down faster and if its a table top you will land short, now you are able to hit it faster you while still giving you less air time and more ground speed
