It is indeed a very beautiful mall, architecturally speaking! The atrium, with its voluminous and eccentric chandelier, is a attention-grabbing detail. This said, glad to see you thanks to elevator mirrors' reflections!

I love that architecture that looks like a chandelier. It is beautiful.

The food court did throw me for a loop but overall I like what I saw, especially the regal cinemas entrance, I agree a fountain would have been great. It seems that the mall will be okay for now, the anchor lineup seems healthy and I have to give kudos to mall management for being proactive about getting Penney’s to stay. If that’s any indication for how much they care about the mall then that’s a very good sign for the future.

arbor place was my childhood mall!! it is nothing like it used to be sadly. all of my childhood was spent at this mall and the downfall hits too close to home. i love this video!!

Wow, this is a really nice, extremely luxurious looking mall. I just wish there was more pastel colours and more of the evergreen colour present throughout the mall. Hopefully this place keeps surviving. It deserves to.

Damn that food court _is_ gaudy. But I'll take gaudy over bland. The rest of the mall is definitely a '90s mall, and I'm glad it seems to be holding on for now.

I love the music that you play at the beginning of your videos, especially when it’s a gray and cloudy day. It reminds me of the movie Escape from New York. I imagine ghostly apparitions of 1980s kids in their tattered Day-Glo outfits haunting the corridors of their past as they crumble before our eyes. Great work!

It's a really good video I like it !!! This mall used to be my childhood. I used to love coming to this mall when they first opened it back in October 1999. I remember the first movie I saw in this movie theater in Regal cinemas was toy story 2 like it was yesterday. Brought me so many good memories of my childhood teenage years in high school years and even college years. But sadly this mall is just going downhill. They really need to update the exterior interior it just looks all old and wore out. I mean in the video it all looks good. For once you see it closely and you have been here for so long coming to this mall. You'll notice that it's in bad shape. I feel that this mall might closed down between 2025 and 2026.

I remember when this mall opened. I lived in Douglasville back then i was probably 12 years old maybe. But it was a big deal to us kids. The movie theater , borders the food court. I had some good times at arbor place

Thanks for this walk-thru of Arbor Place Doomie! It has always been one of my favorite Metro Atlanta malls. It has a complete anchor line-up, almost all of the quality mid-tier mall tenants, great junior anchors, a theater, an intriguing food court (with a gingerbread house elevator! Glad you rode that), and a beautiful late 1990s design. I hope the impending Belk downgrade and eventual closure isn't the start of larger problems for Arbor Place and is more a reflection of Belk's success in the Atlanta market itself. Btw, I never knew you were so young and cute Doomie! lol It was nice to see your reflection in the elevator.

For a newer mall, this one looks really good. It has some touches of the late 90's/Early 2000's gaudiness. It almost reminds me of a Mills Mall in some aspects.

This mall loosely reminds me of Burnsville Center in the south Twin Cities(Minneapolis) suburbs, but honestly I like the look of this mall better. I think it is the colorful food court, that sells me on how much I like the design of this mall. I hope Arbor Place hangs on, as a mall.

Well it's just like the city of Brampton I live in. There are like 5 Walmart Supercentres here and the city of Brampton is 4 times smaller than the city of Mississauga/ It's silly that there are so many Walmarts in this tiny city.

We have friends that were trying to move to Atlanta from Pittsburgh. They didn’t realize how bad the traffic is in Atlanta and how you can’t live on one side of the city and work on the other side without a two hour drive home. They cancelled those plans after the husband accepted a transfer and actually spent time in the area… nope.

This is a cool-looking mall that seems to be doing well. It may be worth a revisit in a year or two- hopefully if CBL isnt able to put some money into it the mall will find some less cash-strapped ownership (PLEASE NOT MOONBEAM)!

I haven’t been on the west side of Atlanta, but the mall looks really nice. Property values around Atlanta are so high, I can’t understand why people keep moving there while many jobs are now remote. I assume with people continuing to move to the Atlanta metro area, it will survive. I personally have bad experiences in Atlanta, the airport is insanity and the traffic is 100x insanity.

It definitely looks a lot better than the mall of Georgia which is not a very appealing mall. I live in one of the outer suburbs of Atlanta. I didn’t know that people were leaving. Is it just the city they’re leaving or are the people in the suburbs leaving too? And if people are leaving where are they going? My long term plans are to move back to Florida.

Come show us the real mall in the PM HOURS when all the shoplifters are there. Also ppl smash the jewlery store cases. It's went down hill over the years and the police tell me it's the Crime Capitol of Douglasville. Many of the stores are now closing 🤔🤔😕😕
