  • I've seen people make way better times than me with this car. its sorta weird driving an ff for the first time, so I'm still trying to figure out how I should change my driving style to suit fwd. and be able to apply it's benefits. Obviously I'm able to open the throttle earlier through the corner without having to worry about oversteer, but also opening the throttle too early in the corner will result in understeer and will force you to have to take a wider exit, so throttle timing is still a really important thing to get down. Another thing I noticed is how over-rotating the car is equally if not more punishing in and ff. Encountering oversteer by itself is never usually a problem as you can just open the throttle. I normally trail brake into a lot of the corners, so on a lot of the high speed corners I would inevitable oversteer, which in a lot of cases is a good thing on a course like this, trail braking into a corner helps to be able to give a faster entry without having to suffer than penalty of having a slower exit. The problem of oversteer in an ff occurred when I over-rotated the car, which in turn forced me to have to correct the excessive angle. This would kill my speed a lot of the times and give me a slower exit. I feel like over-rotation was a lot more manageable in an fr with the right counter and throttle input, I felt I retained a lot of my momentum. In the end tho, this car still feels like aimbot compared to the ae86 and I'm not complaining.
    Also if anyone could share and good tunes for this car(mugen civic type ss), that would be great as I have clue what the hell I'm doing with my setup ;-;
