In my experience, as a decepticon no, I prefer Megatron than Galvatron cuz he's out if his mind luckily when Unicron almost destroyed cybertron I finally managed to escape and finally free from dictatorship of the decepticon cause
Octane and Trpticon tried to overthrow Galvatron in G1 S3. Scourge tried aswell and Swindle also tried to blackmail him. So people did dare challenge Galvatron. Blitzwing stood up to him and Motormaster threatened to do something about him unless Cyclonus sorted him out.
He was reincarnated in the 4th movie as brains explained Joyce is responsible for everything that transpired in 2014 that things should never be invented using the dead cybertronian corps.
I remember seeing MEGATRON being trapped in the LAVA PITS. Then the LAVA changes MEGATRON into GALVATRON after being pulled out of the PITS by fellow DECEPTICONS! No UNICRON creation whatsoever. 5:33 was change to GALVATRON.
There was a UK version of MEGATRON to GALVATRON transformation! No UNICRON involved. Only by the LAVA PITS. It's not REMEMBERED by most fans. But I have seen it once on TV.
the one thing I hate about Age of Extinction, is how Michael Bay renamed the substance that's used to build cybertronians, it was suppose to be called protoforms, but instead, he had it renamed transformium.

Protoform IS NOT the substance use to build Cybertronians. Protoform is simply a Cybertronian without a proper robot mode, a larval form of sorts.
