  • 0:00 - Android htc-29386.0.9.0.0: These sounds are the earliest to include ringtones, and the earliest version to be available as a full dump. The htc-29386.0.9.0.0 sounds contain various ring styles, two sounds, and an interesting recording of a music piece. The "Googlerz" ringtone is supposed to be some sort of rap style with the piano and drums playing, while a man says "What's up Googlerz!". Other sounds included in this version include test.mid (usually for audio testing; used until 0.9) and fx_foghorn.mp3.
1:22 - Android m3-rc20a - m5-rc15: All previous ringtones got replaced with four ringtones, lasting until 0.9 was released. The two EM ringtones are recordings. The first EM ringtone, however, has an album titled "None". The rests are ring3.mp3 and ringer.mp3. The test.mid isn't affected; fx_foghorn.mp3 got removed.
1:53 - Android 0.9: This version finally uses all of the ringtones and sounds in OGG format from the first public release of Android, but with a few misconceptions. All of its ringtones and notifications (except all alarms and Effect_Tick.wav) are in stereo instead of mono and contain an early version of the "CrazyDream" ringtone, which uses a different ending with no fade-out effect. Effect_Lid_X sounds are included in this version, which is basically the same F1_New_MMS sound. That was removed in the final release, including test.mid.
