Proverbs 3: 5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” -- Even before we got married, our goal was to live like how we are living our lives today; simple, happy, and contented - even with up to the littlest thing we have. As young as we are, our decision in relocating, from living in the city and giving up our jobs as professionals to living a simple life in the province, was a very risky decision for both of us. However, at that time, trusting the Lord is the only thing we could do. I hope our story inspires you to take that risk, submit to the Lord, focus on how you’ll be able to achieve your plans, and above all, trust HIM with all your heart. Truly, HE has his ways of making our dreams come true and HIS plans are always better than ours.
    Thank you and amping pirmi!
    ❤, Ian & Ruth

Thank you for showing to us your home, Ian and Ruth! Indeed, Proverbs 3:5-6 is something that we should live by. I love the natural lighting brought by the jalousie windows. I'm curious, do you have provisions to put typhoon window shutters for protection against extreme weather conditions?

You have the best interpretation of a modern tropical house. I applaud your use of breezeway blocks in the kitchen, using jalousies and making it floor to ceiling, raised house on cement foundation, wood accents. Galing talaga. Congratulations. May you have many happy days in this farmhouse.

My current place is surrounded by mountains and when a typhoon hits our place, the storm has already been dispersed by the mountains but we still feel its rage.
