Sir, last two days learned lot of financial planning from your videos, prepared retirement, daughters education, mrg planner, unsure where and how to map investment to goal.
@9:36 Sentiment ah puzhinjitinga Pattu sir!!! You are talking practically valid points.... But that's how the mutual fund managers earn.....they talk very convincingly and inflate the expectations of common man too much! Ennamo....makkalu neenga solradhu purinjaa sari :-)
So the message I should take from this video is - Just patience and discipline is not enough for mutual investing. Periodic rebalancing between equity and debt is also required. Also, one nears the goal, the equity component should be gradually reduced. Am I correct?
Expecting a solution and thoughts.. I couldn't see you didn't talk on technical analysis part in market and no videos.., is there any specific reason on? My understanding is, Financial planning and portfolio rebalance will be enough to take forward? Again Share the details on Sideways market and correction please sir..
Sir, thanks to this video. This have brought me back a very long pending doubt. I`m sure many will have the same. Please provide some insights on what could be an ideal time in years (or stock price appreciation %) that we can do the rebalance of that stock like take the profit and put that in PPF etc ? Particularly if the stock have given absolute returns of our goal in few years than we anticipated. And also vice versa. I know it will depend on person to person based on their goal or appreciation % or profit taking trigger number from that stock, but as you said during a sideways the # of year will obviously bring the XIRR down, so how to tackle this situation. So if you could address this situation in your next video on rebalancing, it will be helpful. It has been a long time pending question that i would love to know/hear from you from an ideal perspective.
Thank you so much sir. I thought of investing passive funds S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 for long term. Its looks like same as nifty. Then where we need to invest? Athuku pesama PPF or Fixed deposit poirulam pola. Atleast money will be safe

Sir, one correction. Absolute return= (Final value - Initial Value)/Initial Value. You have selected rightly the B2, but the commentary might require change. Thanks
Hello sir, You said 8.2% annualized return. But you haven't considered the dividends which have paid during that period. Especially before 2017, no LTCG was there. So if you include the dividends, then extra 2% return can be made, close to 10℅(post Tax return) that is sweet.
@@pattufreefincal I could understand sir that time is money. And we have to constantly monitor our portfolio. Just I am telling the return in that period you have calculated doesn't include the dividends. Thats it. I am sorry sir for pinpointing you . Correct me if I am wrong.
