Really enjoy watching you mix your paints, then seeing the results immediately. Thanks for all the time you spend showing, demonstrating, explaining. It's a lot of work, & just want you to know it is really appreciated.
This was a fun project to work on. The most important thing I learned from this was allowing the storm in the background to be noticeable but not too dark, so that my trees wouldn't get lost in it.
I'm a floral artist painting in acrylics, but now moving on to landscape. I'm learning more about mixing paint to achieve colour harmony from your tutorials. Am I allowed to 'try' to copy till I gradually find my own style in landscape. Thanks for your explanations and your excellent sharing of information. Ok... all good, left the house to get to art supply store. Found the brushes you mention, different brand. Now, for further attempts to recreate your amazing art!!
I used to have one, but really don’t need it anymore since I work fast and I’ve gotten good at controlling the paint! I have a video on that! Here is the link: ruclips.net/video/-pUX3H9ktcQ/видео.htmlsi=53DAHbHmudAs6xsk
Enjoy your process. Only comment is I question the height of the trees in the middle. They don't give me the feeling they are closer to me than the trees on the right. Still love watching you paint.
k lewis thanks for asking, I painted this piece on cradled birch wood, unlike canvas which has a lot of bounce, wood is sturdy. So no bounce back as I apply the paint!
So, while I wait on the paint colors (you provided me) to arrive... I am practicing this piece (Florida Highwayman-esque. My fave & obsession) I am finding brushes make a difference. Can you plz suggest handful of basics (synthetic or not) - whatever you think makes sense. I went to Jerryartarama online - not sure I’m searching correctly. THANKS!
So sorry for the late response Cheri!! The brushes I use from Jerry’s artarama are: Brands: CreativeMark ProWhite ProStroke Powercryl Also Berlins series are good too! They are a teal or blue color.
@@GebahiArtworks yes that is what I have been doing, however makes it difficult to know when you are giving instructions. Much better if there is no music then people can stay focused on your instruction, your teaching. Thank you.
André Sarubbi must be, they took the time to let me know! I when I look at other videos on RUclips, if I don’t like the music I just mute it, especially if it’s time lapse!
I love how economical you are with colour mixing
Thank you! 😊
Simple and yet so very expressive.
I appreciate it, thank you!!!

You can do this !!!
I just bought a paint box that keeps your acrylics wet working with them and storing for days. You would like it. Follow directions. ITS Awesome!

Face in the clouds
I was looking for it, still can’t find it!

Thank you for pointing that out!!
Hello Master!
Lol, hello !!!
How did you get your canvas stationary with very little movement while painting?

Great painting. What's the name of the music
Painterly Brushes thank you!! I used an IMovie theme song called “Aether”
I rather watch you paint in real time.
Thank you Maryann, noted!!
You do not need that annoying music!
I know, my newer videos don’t have music in them! Sorry!
I like watching your videos but please get rid if the elevator music, you don't need it extremely annoying.
Thank you! Just hit mute!
