I understand how complicated this must have been (No I don't because I don't play piano, although it is my life goal to learn) so props to you for creating such a beautiful song from an equally beautiful yet entirely different song

Hi! Yes, all my covers are in the same key as the original. When I start an arrangement, I first listen to the song, then I brainstorm parts of the song that I want to mimic either melodically/harmonically or rhythmically (or both). For example, say I listen to a breakdown. I'd like to play it's exact rhythm... however, I decide to change the notes/chords of it if I feel it may sound boring on piano. I still stick to the 'main chord' of the breakdown, but slightly alter the notes so that it keeps it interesting and has a unique Misstiq touch. So, yeah I decide what I should keep that's in the original and what little part of it I should create as my own. I strategically have to keep in mind what the previous sections sounds like for the next section to sound pleasant too; so it flows. There's a lot to it, but I hope this makes sense!
