I just became a dad, my son is a month and a half old and he is fussy as can be. Super active, cries constantly. But music will usually settle him down for a nap, or to chill him out. I’ve been a KSE fan since I was a teenager and I still jam their songs every day on my way to work, their music puts my son to sleep especially the piano covers that Sean has done. I love it.
Lol I do the exact same thing it's almost like it's an excuse for us dad's in some way we are listening to metal and putting the kids to sleep. Rock on!

Trauma is a hell of a thing. When you think you're over something or someone and your mind and heart are but the pain of a time, a moment, a songs meaning, reach from the past and grab you...and tear you from yourself for a moment to relive that anguish...not because you still love them or miss them...but for the worst hurt and sorrow they caused when they brought you the most happiness as well. Here i am, totally over it. But the pain seems like its not over me. Im fine with never seeing or hearing from or about that individual ever again....but they pain they caused...that trauma, the darkest time of my life ane dealing with that...doesnt seem to wanna go away unfortunately. Trauma is a hell of a thing.

Something I noticed, most music gets better when you take it and do a Metal cover, but then Metal always gets just... Soul-shakingly wonderful when you do a piano and violin cover. It's just funny to me, and kind of awe inspiring.

He had been there for me my whole life. We were just 1 year apart. For 23 years we have been each other's better part. And I lost that part. Music has different effects on each person. To me, it's a mixture of peace, and rage. I can see one of my protagonists wage a war against fate, holding on his shoulders the heavy burden of a long, yet not forgotten, promise. I write from time to time. Songs like these have helped me to project different emotions towards the words and actions on each chapter of my stories. And not only the ones they were intended to share, but the ones I feel when listening to 'em too. Feeling sorrow by listening such a song doesn't mean he's wrong. When I listen to songs like 7 Names, by Tesseract, I actually feel... Peace, most of the time. Being able to feel a lot from a song, is a blessing. For each one shall become an essential part of each chapter of your life.

My ammie just died at 100. She was my piano teacher for 5 years from 10 to 15 and taught me classical piano. Fast forward 20 years to today and I owe it to her to learn this version of this song. I won't lie. This version you made, got to me in such a way - I started drawing my OCs (Eric and his brother in their new updated, digital style) yesterday for 5 hours straight, simply cuz the music triggered a "vision" where I saw of my characters in it's final form (Animated/ moving in an Anime .) That hasn't happened in a long time and I haven't drawn for 5 hours+ like that in a long time either. Thank you.

My ammie just died at 100. She was my piano teacher for 5 years from 10 to 15 and taught me classical piano. Fast forward 20 years to today and I owe it to her to learn this version of this song. Not just because I love it but because it tickles my soul and that is what she taught me about music. Find songs that touch you and practice them until you can play them with your eyes closed. Pick music that you love to play.
