Abaqus FEA - Generalized Plane Strain

Generalized plane strain = plane strain (x,y plane) + axial direction strain (Z-direction)
As a plane strain problem with axial strain, general plane strain problem can represent three-dimensional problems much more accurately than simple plane strain.
