    why it is required to create reference point and what does it mean to connect it to the surface,
    i mean what is the benefit out of it?

    Thank you for the video. Can you help with how put a constraint of an undeformable shell with a deformable part

    Sir Ahmad i did like your object but i fond some mastic can tell me what should i do ? the error is (Node 1195 instance column-1 has two rigid body reference nodes 3 (assembly) and 2 (assembly). A node may be associated with only one rigid body)

      It seems you made a double assignment for a reference point. Please check your constraints definitions within the interaction module.

    There is same way that we can use a control point in a block in movement in abaqus? Making the control point move with the block

    Sir, why are we adding constraints ? Can't we apply the loads and bc directly ?

      It seems to prevent stress concentration, but the other videos teach you to use coupling constraints

    Sir
    What is the difference between tie(nodes) and pin( nodes)?
    Which one would be better for a CFST Column- concrete filled steel column with outer steel tube and inner concrete core
    Please reply 🙏

    • @AElkady

      Tie transmits all of the node degrees of freedom to the attached body. Pin transmits only translational degrees of freedom. The choice depnds on the mechanism being simulated. A good illustration is show here: catiadoc.free.fr/online/anlug_C2/anlugprtconstraints.htm

    Thank you sir, i have a problem in my work , please my question is ((can i create a reference point RP-2 for the column-top in (0,2000,0) and tie him to the appropriate surface . if i have a pressure load in this surface for example ? )) . Thank you very much again.

    • @AElkady
      @AElkady  Год назад

      You can assign a an equivelant load to the RP.

    can we change the position of the origin point?

    • @AElkady
      @AElkady  Год назад +1

      Not sure what you mean by "origin point". You can always move parts with respect to the datum corrdinates.
