You get more value from a subaru that you pay for.. And subaru crosstrek base model is always AWD, compared to corolla cross base model which is FWD for almost the same price..
Comparing the base model Crosstrek to the XLE Cross, wow Toyota, totally sketchy. And I say this as someone who drives a Toyota and has owned a few of them.
both at entry level basic setup, Subaru is AWD, Toyota is FWD. Subaru has black aluminum rims 17", toyota only gives that option at 3,400 higher model option. you can't choose rims on basic models, even AWD models you get steel garbage rims with plastic caps. Subaru even has downhill traction control, has better value for money and is truly off-road vehicle, toyota corolla cross is taller and wider regular corolla-bare bones of the bare bones.
What a bunch of troll BS! I started buying Toyotas in 1983 and I still have a 2003 Tundra that I bought new. I also have a medallion on my 2001 Crosstrek and my 2016 Subaru Outback. When it comes to small compacts, I’ll take the Subaru anytime, anywhere over the Toyota or anything else for that matter. This troll video didn’t mention how much safer the Subaru is over the Corolla.
Imagine how much tax dollars this nation could save if Toyota would partner with law-enforcement and first responders to make a compatible vehicle… I see these crappy Ford interceptor’s at these mechanic shops for weeks at a time. I know Myrtle Beach uses the Tacoma for their police vehicles because of the crawl, gear and sand but Toyotas should be the national first responder vehicle for reliability.
@@adamblack6867 and people still buy fords 😂🤣 I finally talked my whole family into dumping the fords for Toyotas.. my mom went from a 2014 ford exploder with a recall literally every month to a 23 taco with 0 recalls so far
Speed and Power are two important traits that law enforcement vehicles absolutely need. Something that people never associate Toyota with. Dump all the guns, medical & computer equipment, reinforced frame and wheels on a 4 Runner and you'd have to floor it to merge on a highway, let alone chase other vehicles at 100+mph with that much weight. Ford's, Chevy's and Dodges are made for that with their big V8s and Turbo EcoBoosts. But hey, they can use a Prius to hand out parking tickets, to save tax dollars if necessary.
@@MrDeez-lk9to The Toyota 5.7 V8 makes 381 horsepower at 5,600 rpm and 401 lb-ft of torque at 3,600 rpm. For the sake of comparison, let's leave Ford's 5.0 Coyote V8, which makes more power. The Explorer's 3.0 V6 itself makes 400HP & does 0-60 in 5.5⚡. The charger makes roughly the same power figures as Toyota's 5.7 V8, in a 'sedan'. Both are big, spacious, fast & handle their weight pretty well. As I said, Toyota's are best used for handing over parking tickets, where performance, speed & handling are not a priority
Even if they did compare the 2024 model, it still wouldn’t match up with the 2023 Corolla cross. Honestly, the Crosstrek kind of sucks with its lack of features and styling.
Stop this nonsense. The crosstrek is better and I’m not even getting a Subaru I just know just do some research. Yes the Toyota has more updated fancy gadgets but the crosstrek is a better car. It drives better. It can even do some off-road better. It can do a lot of things better when it comes to driving than the Toyota corolla cross if you want a serious outdoor vehicle just go for the crosstrek
Don't buy a Toyota. Their dealers will lie to you during the sale and Toyota will do nothing to hold them accountable or make the situation right. I've never been so disgusted with a company.
Toyota and Subaru are really working together. Toyota will lend its hybrid system to Subaru.
They should do that, after all toyota is the king of hybrids
My only fave is the '23 TOYOTA Corolla Cross because of it's satisfying luxury & cool safety features!!! 😍🤩✨💞💖💖💖
Carro mais top da Toyota 🎉🎉👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
when the hybrid version coming to usa?
Stay tuned! 😀 The Corolla Cross Hybrid will be available late spring.
Give it up Toyota! I can walk into a Subaru right now and purchase a Hybrid Crosstrek. Where is your Cross?
Right! It's super weird how small a manufacturer subaru is compared to Toyota, yet there are so many more subarus actually available right now

In Vietnam, Corolla Cross is in the same segment with CX-5, Tucson, Forester. Nice job Toyota Vietnam 🤣🤣🤣
RAV4 Definitely should have been there instead.

I was going to watch this but can no longer afford a Toyota.

True my job has fords and Toyotas . The fords are always in the shop the Toyotas never .

The 2024 Crosstrek is all new. They really should be comparing with the 2024.

Guven yok artık TOYOTA ya
I’d still take the Crosstrek, even know with that 2024 model coming up.

Toyota

You’re pretty bad… Go buy a Hyundai or Kia 🤦♂️
