He may seem slow to some but he isn't flogging the transmission or brakes they way some blokes do. Plus he's got a big weight in that mega bucket. His machine will do another day at work
Job I worked on when I was younger used 2 WA 600 and 2 988B coal loaders with 2 980C straight buckets to clean the coal. We ran anywhere from 100,000 to 140,000 ton per month. I can remember 200 coal trucks lined up the hill on a Monday morning.
Too bad they hired every bosses church buddy golfing buddy poker friend cousin brother sister and best friend and run the entire job into bankruptcy. Place still could have been operating had they not tried to employ so many people and brag about how many men and women were on payroll at over $20/hour and hiring bosses who had no business being in the position they were in. Was a great place starting out And went to crap quick. Glad I got 3 good years in and left.
Me: jeeze that small bucket for big loader!!! Loader: pulls up to truck Me:😨 that is a quite a bit bigger than I thought!!! Loader: goes in for another scoop and reveals extended bucket Me:😲😳🤯😶 about what I said!!
Count the axles, 12k steering, 34k drive, 34k trailer = 80k I didn't just guess that number, I am driver sir. Plus, it's coal, so you have to stack more to get the same amount of weight as stone or dirt, coal isn't a dense material.
Count the axles? Aaaahahahahaha! That's priceless! Do you know that a truck with 5 axles can be registered for as muck as 99k in NY state? 95k in Pennsylvania? Then you say about the density of the coal, have you ever seen dump trailers hauling coal? It's very rare to see the coal above the sides and you never seen them on the road piled up like that. It's normal in west Virginia and Kentucky for coal haulers to gross over 120k all the time.
@@turdferguson7813 I didn't realize they were hauling on-site since the video didn't show where they were dumping, and most mines don't have a paved, state owned highway leading to their stockpile. 8===D
Loading shovel operator is ok in my opinion smooth and steady this machine is so big it can't go much faster with the oversized bucket, but definitely the truck should be as close as possible to the stockpile positioned at a slight angle to enable the shovel not to travel more than one full revolution of the wheels before he empties bucket from fill position

fast not always means good if he will tip fast on the truck then the air bags of the trailor can brake down very fast and the second i you are hard on machines then you are always getting big payroll for fixing it especially with this construction machinery
It's not too bad... with such a good machine, that ramp is not necessary... the ground for a better load must be flat, everything... time is wasted and material is wasted...
Here we go, were should we start the critiquing. To much loader for truck or not enough truck for loader, how about how slow the operator was, and how far he traveled to get a bucket. Boring video for anyone over 20,000. Seat hrs on a loader.
First off never raise your bucket and assume a dumbass truck driver will park in the spot you need them to. Let them park then you adjust. Second how come you spilled as you are dumping? Good operator shakes the excess off before dumping. Must be non union.
well you kind of just ignored the fact that the bucket is oversized both for the loader and the truck. So no he's loading pretty damn good, just doing the common thing of being careful and not trying to be ''fast'' and destroy stuff! people who uses the gas pedal to proove they're fast often don't accomplish shit. Careful and structured loaders goes their whole life without an accident most of the time!
I have never seen such a disproportionately wide bucket on a loader. I’m guessing it’s nearly 20’ wide. He’s putting out about 18 cy in two passes. Not a very good operator.
That might be a 12 or 15yd bucket dude not 9 yds. He’s filling those trucks to the brim which is way more your suggesting. I’ve seen operators for loaders. Don’t be too quick to judge, I’d like to see how you would do with a loader like that!? Video for proof.
That is the widest coal bucket I have ever seen! Thanks for sharing the video!

its wa 800
I like heavy equipment. The operator is a very good skill. Very good sound. Thank you from Japan.
Cautious not slow, the trucks and loader will work another day without damage.
They’re hauling from the mine to a power plant using mine owned haul road. No blacktop. They’re heavy
Is that a bucket or a combine header ?
That's a huge ass bucket good lord !!!!
That bucket is long as hell!!! Very cool!!!
James Freeman You mean wide
Magnificent bucket. Is that Lignite or Bituminous coal ?
Holy cow…..that bucket is huge. Is that a 15 or 20 yd bucket?
Two trucks in less than five minutes. Twenty four trucks per hour. That's a lot of coal.
Excellent bucket

Wow, exciting.
Nice Video
The bucket of Komatsu WA800 is equipped with an oversized size.
It's 29ft wide, truck beds are atound 30ft.
Height and weight really does not matter. My guess is that these trucks are running from the plant to the river dock to load barges.

Nice, steady operator on that loader. 👍
I love that payloader.
Some of the coal miners h rodhead c was going to put out of work ????
How much tons are those trucks hauling
80k lbs max, so 40 tons
What makes you think they are only hauling 80k? I'm not sure, but with the way they are piled up I'd bet they are closer to 100k than 80k.

At the beggining I tought it was a simulator.😂
I was thinking the same thing Josh
Only 2👌👌👌👌👌
And I bitch about regular sized cutting edge replacement..
👍👍👍👌👌👌👏👏👏💪💪💪🤩🤩🤩
2 scoops and an overweight ticket all in the same hour.
Sense they're running on an unpaved road owned by the power station and not the state..... how will they get a ticket?

Put a load on. Not little drops. About 20 ton is kiddy load
👍👍🇧🇷
That bucket is small for coal, loader backs up, oooh WTF.
My woman would have that coal burnt in a week 😂
is it RC?
This game is so realistic. Is it on PlayStation?
Is this dude supposed to be a legend or something?
In his own mind!
Is it me or does that operator looking really slow?
Ya I dont understand why we are driving a mile to go from pile to truck when they are right next to each other
